Hi Katie. Thanks for the video. Do you know if there is a way to add custom letter grades in Canvas? For example, entering a W for a student’s grade instead of a traditional letter grade (A, B, C, D, or F) and then having that letter grade (W in this case) be calculated at a specified percent, say 50%. I’m transitioning from SchoolLoop and have always entered a W when a student did not show sufficient work. The student sees the W in the grade book and knows that the assignment was graded at 50% credit due to not showing work. Thank you.
Hi Kelly! To the best of my knowledge, Google Forms don't integrate into Canvas. You can provide your students a link to a Google Form in your Canvas course (like in the instructions for an Assignment), but you can't pull the results from Google into your Canvas course. Your best option is to export the Gradebook, add any scores in a program like Excel, then upload the Gradebook back into Canvas. Here's the guides for that: community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26274-how-do-i-export-grades-in-the-gradebook community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-26281-how-do-i-import-grades-in-the-gradebook
Very clear, detailed, and helpful video. Thanks for this.
The best explanation I found for those of us who are beginners!
Shut up you smell

You'll want a grading scheme! 🙂 community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-use-grading-schemes-in-a-course/ta-p/870
You may also find rubrics to help mimic that behavior. 🤔
Thank you. That was very thorough and very simple to follow. DO you have a video that shows how to sync Canvas grades to Infinite Campus, please?
I've never used Infinite Campus, so I can't be much help there. 😥
Very clear. Thanks!
How do you add a google form grade into Canvas? Most videos are showing to add google form as a file not an assignment.
