we could potentially see Sean leave in the summer. Local Lad I know but not consistant enough and we do need an upgrade in his position to rotate quality to prevent burn out like we witnessed this season with certain players. Personally I think if that 100M come in from one of the 2 top Spanish clubs for Bruno he will be gone (all South Americans dream of this). All the best.
Really good comment. Just to add from what I said though, I do expect at least someone to leave but I can’t pinpoint who that is just yet. Usually body language, things like that, which papers/media appear to have a genuine story, usually sky sports is a bit more accurate with transfers. If someone’s in talks they’d usually know. Hopefully Joe isn’t motivated by money too much, but I’m less convinced about Bruno, Sven or Isak. And also Kieran has reached that stage where he doesn’t know what to do, he only stayed because the offer wasn’t good for us and we rejected. But being the age he is I’m not sure where he could go now. So maybe he won’t go. But Isak, he’s already had 6 clubs and he’s only 23. With the price tags ya just dunno. Bruno on the other hand is different, he seems to move the city and fans and being Bruno but often he’s 50/50 in the field and normally when he’s been linked elsewhere. If he knows he’s carrying a price tag like this, with how things are this could possible. You’ve got Madrid landing Mbappe so they’ll not fetch money for Bruno. Munich always have money but they’ve far too many for his role. However they might be offloading a few. And Barca unless instalments which they’ve talked about before are keeping jong etc and so that’s out, the only likely detonation really would be Paris. And I’m sure Bruno would love that and his wife. It’d be stupid to sell him bcos he’s the spine, makes us tick so to speak. And knowing us we will replace him with an English player or British. 🤦♂️. Sandro isn’t proven yet in our league and could still prove to be a key player I just don’t see it from what I’ve seen, so selling Bruno would be pointless to me. Lastly miggy, I believe the Saudis will come in for him. He’s aware fans are frustrated with him. So could be him. I’d prefer Jamal, dummett, Ritchie, Fraser, Lewis, Targett, Dubravka to all leave tbh. Deadwood mostly. But that won’t work for us miney wise it’ll only thin the side.
