We moved to the island last year.. this year was my first TT and as a Marshall too… it was absolutely incredible and the atmosphere with the island is like nothing else
Always carry a pair of slippers going on ferrys, i promice you. No one will ever steal your smelly boots. And it makes walking so much easier.... Leave the boots strapped to the motorcycle. And while waiting for loading. Pack your riding gear on the bike including your helmet. And ride aboard the boat with some comfortable cloth on for the boat trip. Have a small thin back pack to put necessary items like medicin and underwear. You don't want to show up at the boat restaurant in full leather and racing boots :D This applies to riding motorcycle and load onto trains also. Same stuff.
@3.22m a little clip of my KTM 990 waiting for the ferry, although my mates norton was the more interesting bike, you can just see the bit of chrome sticking out. My first TT and great experience apart from some of the hangovers.
Dan, how would you rate this Superduke R Evo against your previous long term 1290GT as far as touring/everyday riding? I currently have an 890R that I've done a couple 800 mile day rides on (1,500 miles with an overnight stay), and was eagerly watching your GT reviews to talk myself into swapping the 890 for a 1290GT. But most of my riding is city commuting and weekend fun rides, with the odd track day thrown in. I *love* how the 890R handles, and a1290 Evo looks a lot more fun for everyday riding, but obviously compromises on some touring comfort. Which would you choose if you had to have 1 bike to do it all?
Sometimes in life you just gotta go for it. If anything it'l be more comfy than the 890 because of the size difference. Unless you're really short. IF most of your commute is city, then I wouldn't get the GT.
Pro tip - Don’t mount the GoPro selfie stick to your balls and it won’t affect your voice. I know I know, it’s a good mounting spot right in the middle, but you end up sounding like a Smurf, Keebler elf, Minion, take your pick.
Have you been to the TT? Tell us about your experience below.
No, but it’s on the bucket list. Cheers from the states and from an SDR owner.

Slippers for the ferry. Genius! I'll keep that in mind, if I'm lucky enough to go next year.
Thanks for the tour of the island and the review of the super Duke evo excellent job. Is my dream trip
Great video, going for my first TT with my Dad as pillion next year. Looking forward to it 👍🏻
Have fun!
Nice video. I think that I will put the TT Races on my bucket list now. Well put together Dan, good job 👍
Do the other things first.

He's not kidding having your wits about you on the mountain. Some right Rossi wannabe's out there.
360° vision most of the time.
I have always wanted to visit the Isle of man during the race days AND GET MY HELMET SIGNED BY JOHN Mc GUINNESS...😍😍😍😍😍😍
with love from India.
Really enjoyed that Dan. Thanks. I’ll have to go myself one day.
You really should! It's a special place. Ride safe, Dan MCN.
How many times did it say GENERAL FAILURE OR MTC FAILURE? Glad to see mine ridden away. Tracer 900 rules!
I understand your pain, had mine for 500 miles before the Kill/switch assembly failed...the most unreliable brand on the market!
Nice little Vlog Dan. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
I want the superduke so much
Great little round-up, Dan.
This video is gonna make my not so good of a day VERY good ! :) CHEERS !

Great video Vlog Dan! Top job!
You must have felt like you had won the TT, getting to the Isle of Man and home again without the Superduke not breaking down!
I have owned since release in 2020. I even worry about getting it wet!
I started looking at travel and accommodations for the race next year... the costs are more terrifying than the race itself.
especially if you have to cross the pond.
Great video! Would like to see more on the Isle of Man TT. Best!
We'd like to do more, too! Any suggestions? Dan, MCN.
nice Video 🔥
Thumbs up and keep it up
Is there anywhere in the UK you can open the KTM up on the mainland without getting harassed? I have the same bike - regards from the US🇺🇸.

I have the same bike and the front end wobbles between 95-115 mph. No matter how I adjust the suspension. 205lbs with great on. Not sure what to do.
Awesome bud cheers 👍🏻
3:30 ... "all in the same boat" ... that was so punny :)
You havent felt pain until you've ridden 700 kms of twisties on a ninja H2 in a single day
Heysham near Liverpool ???
Great video. What tank range are you getting out of the Super Duke?
Bout 150 on my gen 3
There weren’ any intact adult journalists at MCN available for this review?
Great video and insight but feel like this could have been a 30+ mins series haha
Honestly this is the first time i heard about RWYB on the TT and other attractions these are always left out
hi,how much cost to go there Isle of Man from Bristol south of UK?thank you
I'm not sure if there are ferries from that area of the UK. You'll have to do some digging around!
What the hell is a box junction?!?
"We're all in the same boat" he says, as he boards the actual boat with all the other riders who then end up on the same boat....
Nice😎
Is he old enough to go without his parents?
