Have been watching your videos for the past week or so have them same saw just finished rebuilding it with a connector boot and carb kit i got from amazon runs like it did when I got it 45 years ago thanks for posting all this info
Tygon pulse line was used on my old Stihl 028 Type 1, Old style. Also, thinner oil was recommended for the old saws, the thicker 'bar lube' causes too much pressure build up, without delivering sufficient oil volume to the bar. When I switched to 20 weight motor oil, it didn't leak, and the delivery volume was significantly better. thanks for the video.
Hello sir, I am learning so much from you, please keep making these very valuable lessons and I really like the chainsaw holding device thingy it needs a really cool name !
you prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Michael Kyrie thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Poulan/Husqvarna saws have been notorious for bad quality fuel lines. They have came out with a kit for that that has clear lines & it's good stuff, as good or better than Tygon.
Where can I go get one of them rubber intake boots that you were installing under the carb? Iv got a homelite 350 also an it needs one it’s completely disintegrating
Send him an email at....support@leonschainsawpartsandrepair.com Leon's worked on at least 3 or 4 saws for me before. I'm in Cleveland he's in Oregon so as long as you don't mind packing up and shipping your saw to him he'll work on it. But contact him first. Search his channel for 925 and you'll see a bunch of videos he's done on those particular saws.
I love the sound of a old homelight in the morning 🤗
Perfect timing just received my replacement rear handle and bottom strap for my 360. Now i am not going in blind. Thanks Leon
Another great episode of Homelite Chainsaw Repair 101☺ You'd make an excellent teacher bud.

I used to use regular bar oil thinned by 10% with either diesel or kerosene. AT fluid works well also.
Seeing your video, made me desire to mess with one one I have sitting in the shelf. Maybe it will be my next winter project.
Good job bub!
Very informative hopefully the pulse line is the cause of my issue thank you sir
Thanks for the Replacement Nose Sprocket for My Homie 20" bar.
