the pollution ideas are very interesting and make me wonder if the symbolism is meant to raise player's awareness of marine pollution in a sort of roundabout way. there are those flying plastic fishies in the original reveal too.
I think the opening scene in the 3rd trailer shows us how the villain inside the simulation abducts inklings and octolings to help it achieve its goal.
with the test dummies are the enemies on the top of the tower 1 the test dummies have 1 eye and the enemies have bigger heads, legs, and pointier ears. and also the enemies at the top of the tower look organic, like how they were drawn look like theyre kinda zombies in a way, the last 1 too the left does have a claw like arm so that could be an argument either way, glen fidler has not been even hinted at from my knowlage in side order (besides that guy in a lab coat on the poster but loose connection) and if my theory is true that rina made side order cuz she wanted to live in her ideal world then why would she ask glen fidler of all people to help??? she deffinitly knows way more about design since she made the flooders and all of the shifty stations by her self so its reasonable that she could make a tiny part of the world in a simulation and since we have only seen 8 which was on team order, dedfish which rina knows closely and pearl who are basicly a couple its reasonable to think she wanted to show her friends what she made, also maybe more than just dedfish, pearl and 8 in side order bc dedfish said "im just another bystander that got sucked in" so dedfish is probably guessing that bc she has already seen others in this world and they got sucked in aswell. also the black goo you talked about probably is why those enemies look black, maybe the goo is close to sanitisation and so the more your covered with the stronger you get??? also also the plastic you talked about and all of that also was in the first trailer with those small bag plastic fish that swam around the square, the goo was also seen in the art in that first trailer. if you read this far thank you for letting me info dump about the funny squid game :)
it was nice hearing ur theory!!! what i was getting at but didnt add is that i feel like glen fiddler would manipulate marina to help him because her mental state is at a low before side order (im assuming lol). tbh my part abt the villian here was more to show some familiarity bc i made a video when rotmm first showed up LMAO. and about the test dummies yes. i realized that. verry narrow connection so i am starting to highly doubt the glen fiddler theory. my brains going to tartar now (part of me doesnt want him back but another part of me sees how it makes sense) or this being more of a character v self story.

my theri-os (i copy pasted this into a lot of comment sections as well as my community tab) Mr. Grizz and Tar Tar will be in ties somehow. We both know that they were significant bosses and wanted to take out squidmanity due to loneliness and sorrow. they have to have ties with eachother. they had the same goal. DJ Octavio will be a part of this. DJ Octavio is a HUGEEE and SIGNIFICANT boss in this WHOLE series and i dont think many realize his significance. Now that we know hes on our side, and that most of the agents have been taken into this digital hell, why wouldnt dj octavio be taken along with the squid sisters? Lil jud HAS to have something to do with this. Hes might not be the most well thought out character, but we know that he has way too much going on with him to not be apart of the SECOND (the main campaign being the biggest lmao) BIGGEST CAMPAIGN ever. Agent 4 is known to be a sweetheart, so there isn't a good reason for her to be a villain by choice (unless theres some big ass plot twist) In the big boss thing, we see three red circles, similar to tar tar's face formation. Similar to that, we see what can be an octowhirl. also, in a video i watched, they said something about a live concert, and when they left pearl said to marina: "you had that cool [game/simulation/thing, i cant remember] you wanted to show me?" so the side order might be a simulation that everyone got sucked into. in dude perfect's video where he got early access, we saw crates with the cuttlegear logo on them. small detail, but it has to be important. also, we know that captain cuttlefish is dried now, so i dont think he'd be very important to the story, but it would be mean to make him not apart of it at all. every character has to be apart of this. every. single. one. no exceptions besides the coroika ones since the manga kinda opposes the lore sometimes so it would cause plotholes (or i will cry) But most importantly, this game will answer every question that we've every had about splatoon. if it doesn't, it has failed as a game.
