We love ours. It’s pricey but as u said has multiple uses that makes the cost more palatable. Great review John! Congratulations on getting a company like Bluetti to send this high dollar equipment to review. It shows all ur hard work is paying off. I hope they are letting u keep it!😊
Dammit man! I have had this in my amazon list for quite some time. So jealous!
It’s an awesome unit!!
Great review! Very helpful. Did you reach out to Bluetti or did they contact you and ask to review? Would love to do something like this in the future.
Thank you! They sent me an email!
Damn I need to start a channel so many people get these for free I got one on black Friday still cost 1800 but yeah super amazing wish I had an expansion battery
Well reviewed. Been mulling this type of option for secondary/ charging power when camping. Do you think a dual battery set up would be more optimal?
I think it depends on your needs. A dual battery system is great in a truck but personally, the versatility of a power bank is more useful for me!
@@Adv4x4 Fair enough, just evaluating options and input from others. Hope you and Amanda are well and wedding plans are gelling.
Thanks Mike!
Cost/watt you can get cheaper rolling your own dual battery (lithium) these days, and you can find ways to package it more efficiently when built into the rig. You can also get controllers that will charge your starter battery once the house is topped off if you add solar.
Where this shines is portability as mentioned, better packaged with inverter (if you need that), and dead simple setup to charge from car ignition on, and solar.
@@jeepncj7 Appreciate your feedback and insight. Need to fully understand my needs. The ability to use it for home situations, as John outlined, was something I had not previously considered. Cheers Dude.
Follow-up coming with real world usage?
I have used it quite a bit with no issues at all so far. My only “complaint” would be the weight of the unit but honestly that is just something that comes with having a power station this size.
Seems like the LCD would be kinda hard to see when you use it in broad daylight.
I haven’t had any issues! Most of the time I’d imagine you will have it in a truck/van/camper in the shade too 👌🏼
It has an app you can download and works via Bluetooth. We use one as a UPS for our saltwater fishtank due to the power issues in FL. Gives us enough juice for when there’s a short power outage or time to setup the generator when the power will be out for extended periods of time. It’s not marketed for this use but it’s the best solution for us. Been working for 6+ months and we use 2 A/C chargers to keep up with the demand but only uses the second charger when needed
The AC200MAX is somewhat expensive when compared to other 2kWh power stations.
Unfortunately nothing is cheap these days! Haha
