- Follow Us as we share with you our recent camping experience at Pasir Ris Park Campsite 1.
Similar to other campsites in Singapore, camping would require the application of a permit which could be done online at the website of National Parks, Singapore (Link: e-station2.axs.... Please also note that you have to print out a physical copy of the permit at any AXS station conveniently located islandwide. This is so that you could present this to any NParks officer who would be doing their rounds to ensure there are no illegal campers.
Pasir Ris Campsite 1 has quite a spacious area for camping, and it is near the seaside. Also, we managed to secure a space that is within walking distance to the toilet and water cooler. This meant that we could freshen up and stock up on drinking water at our convenience. As open fire cooking is not allowed, we resorted to walking to Downtown East which is nearby and within walkable distance, to procure food and drinks. To add spice to the entire camping experience, we brought along the Lumos Nano Projector to catch up on Netflix series and this garnered a lot of attention, as fellow campers seemed pretty impressed with our set-up.
Despite anglers and other park-goers who converse at the top of their voice in the middle of the night, we managed to have some decent rest. And also made a mental note to stay away from fishing rods in our future attempts to source for suitable spaces to pitch our tent.
It was all in all an enjoyable camping experience for us. We accord this in part to how tents from Decathlon can be easily set up, and equipment can be so easily transported with the help of a trolley. Please feel free to check out the links below for the equipment featured in this vlog.
We hope you enjoyed this vlog. Do drop your comments below if you have camped before, or in particular, camped at Pasir Ris Park Campsite 1 before. Let us know your experiences, both good and bad! :D

Hello! Just discovered your channel. I just came back from overnight camping in Pasir Ris Park Area 3. During the day it was ok but at night suddenly got this group of fishermen just sat right beside my tent and were talking so loud! Lucky it rained so heavily and they left. It was peaceful afterwards. Seems like its a common issue in Pasir Ris park. I hope there are more authorities patrolling around the area. I love your channel btw!
Yaaaaa! Very tulan those idiot very disturbing!!!!! Lucky the rain chased them out and make the night cold for you!
Our next camp will be the Ghost island then we complete to camp all campsites in Singapore.
@@Follow_ussg Oh! Please share your experience once you've been there. I do not see much videos in youtube about it. Thank you :)
Nice adventure camping video.🤯🤯🤠🤠🥳🥳👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you ^_^
Hope you will go camping too.
Thanks for making this video! It was so helpful
You are welcome ^_^
Good to have Donki near by, this camping experience can be sooo much better!
Great tips for how to set up, thank you.
You are welcome ^_^
Did you bough the same tent too?
Thank you for sharing. So no gas cooking on campsite?
Ya, sadly one of the rules is no cooking allowed in Singapore island.
But you can cook in Ubin.
@@Follow_ussg i saw in one of ur pasir ris campsite...campers seem to be cooking on site...not sure i wat saw. But sad..wat is camping if cooking is not allow.
@just_so_uknow many people still cook but they might get fine. You will see the rules when you apply the camping permit :(
Yeah, very sad cannot cook during camping, that is one of the fun part!
@@TangShuYangi cooked during my camping there. Just don’t get caught. Best is to cook during the really late hours when nobody else is around. Early hours we just go to Downtown East to eat
@@benedictypx 😉
Is this free
Yes, camping is free for local residents.
Local residend are need to apply permit bro????
Yes, still need to apply the camping permit from the AXS machine.
Hi! It's so nice to see you camping. Just want to ask. How did you ride the public transport with your trolley? Is it difficult riding the bus or train?
Hi hi~
I remember there is a baggage size limit to take public transport, size limit of 120cm by 70 cm by 40cm.
Unless you can fold the trolley and hand carry with some friends else I'll recommend you to take Grab or taxi, as most campsites are far away from the bus stop.
We usually take grab, don't want to make ourselves too stress on public transport.
Hope this is helpful for your planning.
@@Follow_ussg thanks a lot. All the best to both of you and your channel 🥰
You are welcome.
Do share with us ur camping experience.
We might go Ubin for another campsite in Dec, will try to share more camping video soon.
Hi can i check how waterproof is Quechua Arpenaz Base M Shelter? have you tried it under heavy rain condition? Do you need additional groundsheet to prevent water coming up to the bed or sleepingbag?
Hi KaiLun,
It was fine under heavy rain, the " wall " might feel wet but we stay dry inside during heavy rain.
We just sleep on the ground without any groundsheet, you need to zip up all " doors " to prevent rain water flow in :)
Hope you find it helpful, do use the link in the description to purchase the tent, should be able to get free delivery.
@@Follow_ussg the wall feel wet but did water actually slowly slip in from the wall? I have bad experience with water slowly slipping in from wall and ground... Will use your link to buy once decided :)
@@kailunn89 so far only feel wet when we touch it but everything with stay dry inside the tent.
We have been using the tent about 6 times and 3 in wet weather, so far still working well.
We will continue to use the tent for 6 more campsites in Sg soon.^_^
Thanks for using the link to purchase the tent, will get free coffee by that ^_^
I don't camp much but I would enjoy it.
We have several gay camp grounds near me but I've never been.
I see. Well, it can be quite effortful to prepare for it if you are on your own. Interesting to know there are camp grounds devoted specially to the pink community. ☺️☺️☺️
@@Follow_ussg My friends camp at them all the time. They have big parties by the pool and clubhouse that has karaoke and drag shows. You can bring your tent, or camper or rent a cabin.
That is more than camping! hahahaha
the ground looks bumpy.
Yeah, but we found a nice spot ^_^
@@Follow_ussg i was at Area 3 last month, the ground is so bumpy & it rained heavily, collecting water everywhere... then mud... then sand flies... it was so bad
@@quekvincent5981 oh nooooo! Last month was a wet month, we waited till a dryer month then we go.
We think area 3 is not that suitable for beginner as the area is a bit far from the mall.
@@Follow_ussg i drive, parking there is free. carpark at Area 1 is not. And there is a big playground for my kids.
I see. But from what you described, the experience was really bad. I hope your family did not get bitten by the sand flies. 🥲
Camp site provide electricity?
Sadly no, else we will bring portable air conditioner:p
any idea if butane stoves r considered as open-fire..? 🤷🏻♂️
As long you need to lid fire then not allow.
We are planning to bring power generator for Portable AC and induction cooker next time:p
@@Follow_ussg oh well.. looks like its only ubin or lazarus then.. 🤷🏻♂️😆😅
@@DragonScorpio31 I think should be only in Ubin can have open fire.
@@Follow_ussg yup.. only ubin.. st.john's & lazarus is more of a '山高皇帝远' case.. 🤣😅🤫😝
@@DragonScorpio31 hahahahahaah!!
And I am still finding the way to book the campsites:(
any hot water ? the projector is battery operated?
Hello C L! If you're referring to the shower, there is no heater. The Lumos Nanos Projector has built-in batteries which we charged fully before bringing it to the campsite. ☺️☺️☺️
@@Follow_ussg ahh thanks for the info!
@@cali118 you are welcome ^_^
Do use the link in the description to purchase the projector if u are interested.
hi i would like to check does it need to pay for the camp site .. if i just tent on day time ..
Hiiii~
It's free but you need to apply for a camping license at AXS machine
@@Follow_ussg thank u
Hi, may I know if there’s a bathroom there ?
That is all you can see in the video~ I just shower in the handicap wahsroom.
@@Follow_ussg Thank you! Is there a water dispenser there? Possible to get hot water?
oh hahah~ you have to boil your own hot water.
I cant remember about the water dispenser it was too long, you have to find out from the video.
Hi which area is this? Is the parking free?
It's area 1.
We are not sure about the parking fee.
How's the tadpoles are they still ok?
Yeah. We transported them to a safer spot thereafter. ☺️☺️☺️
I can't wait to get to Singapore and ride the bike trail!!!
Hi Nick~
We welcome you anytime ^_^
Are you going to join our video premier later?
I can't find the tent in the decathalon website. do u think they sell this tent in their stores ?
You can order the tent from the link below:

No camping for me. But I join ya for the eye candy 😁😁😁😁😁
We reckon camping in Down Under to be of a nerve-wrecking experience right? Thanks to all the dangerous creatures lurking in the lush undergrowth.
@@Follow_ussg I think it's just me 😁 camping is Huge down under camping shops appear everywhere. I cringe even thinking about sleeping in a camper van or caravan. I love the comfort if a bed in a room. ..there are stories of people finding snakes ( poisonous) under the beds and other places in the house. And the thought of those hand size spider's waking up next me in a rent scares me 😁😁
I think we only will have campervan in Australia, I dont want to see snake or any reptiles when I go inside my tent! ahhahaha
Bro, It's how much costing for 24 hours?
It's free for local residents.
@@Follow_ussg but i am foreigner, living Singapore work pass holder, may i camping there please 🙏

@@Follow_ussg you’re welcome !!!!
Becareful got mosquitoes unless your protected bugs spray
So far we dont have mosquito issues when we camped there.
Maybe we are really near to the beach or our electric mosquito trap and device work.
@@Follow_ussg that's good man enjoy your vlogs new subscriber
Thank you so much for supporting us! It means a lot. Hope to see you around! ☺️☺️☺️
I like camping, but each time I have gone, it's always missing 2 things. A Shaun and a Jim :) I'm assuming that all the camping sites are pretty close to where most people live in Singapore, but far enough to give you that camping experience. No McDonald's food delivery this time LOL
Hahahaha! Well, we wouldn't mind attempting a camping trip overseas. Just saying. Haha. It was a really fun experience I must say. And we can't wait to be back to conquer the remaining sites that we haven't camped in SG! ☺️👍🏻
super yellow teeth sia
