Lol Blackpink is the goofiest and funniest girl group I know. They are just reserved and shy in interviews, fierce and charismatic when performing and just genuinely sweet and adorable people in general. To actually get to know the girls, you've got to react to Blackpink Diaries (kind of like a behind the scenes to their whole world tour) and their live broadcasts (they are really open when interacting with their fans). They also have the most amazing relationship with each other (based on all the interactions between them that I've seen, they really, truly, are like family). Also, fun fact: they lived together for 5-6 years before finally debuting.

BlackPink and BTS were the only groups to make me think otherwise...now I'm in this rabbit hole too.. kpop is not what people make it out to be (random shit, cutesy,etc..) their songs actually have deep messages and the details in their music videos are very symbolic (people think they're random shit it's because they don't know/understand the symbolism.. people who dismiss kpop for this rash conclusion= idiots)

Fair warning, this about to be a long a$$ comment so ignore if u want:
In Blackpink there are 4 members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, in order from oldest to youngest. They've got about 13 songs, which all have Japanese versions ( In the Japanese version, all the raps are in English), this is NOT including their covers. In K-pop each person in the group has a position that contributes to the group.
Jisoo is the Visual ( This means by Korean standards, she is considered the prettiest). Jisoo is also the lead vocalist.
Jennie is also a lead vocalist (unofficially) and the main rapper.
Rosé is the lead dancer and main vocalist.
Lisa is the main dancer, lead rapper, and sub-vocalist of the group.
Being the main in any of those positions means that, that person has better technique or is a bit more skillful than the lead positions, but this by no means, means that the lead positions are bad, they are all in-fact amazing. South Korean artist at times can be very reserved. If you want to see more of their personality, you should watch black pink house and their v-lives on your own time if you want ( I recommend watching it on your own time despite the amount of blinks that will ask for the reaction but do whatever you feel is best).

Blink - Blackpink fandom name

You can see their real personalities in their reality show, UA-cam tour Diary and just live streams from them. They are hilarious and very sweet people. People love them because they are so versatile and everyone has a great quality. They are the full package as you said.
With just 13 songs, BlackPink has manged to garner 31 million UA-cam subscribers, 20 million Instagram followers, one successful world tour including Coachella. Although they debuted 3 years ago, they're still pretty much at the beginning of their career with again just 13 songs. Their music video DDu Du DDu Du is on the verge of reaching one billion views.

Great first reaction! Really enjoyed it. To get a better flavor of their personalities, you should watch something like "Lisa being a chaotic crackhead" (focus is on Lisa but shows funny aspects of the other members' personalities too) or similar videos. The Zach Sang interview of all the members is a good interview to watch to get a lot of background on each member. Blackpink on102.7KiisFM video is another interesting one (and you can hear them telling their ghost stories). Their appearance on James Corden (the "Flinch" video) is also a good one to watch. Of course they're always going to be on their best behavior for the big interviews/TV appearances.

Their personalities are planets different to what they portray on stage and in their music videos. Their Korean label doesn't let them do interviews often even though they speak 5 different languages, the label also doesn't give them that much music either (only 14 songs in 3 years, crazy I know) but once you get to know the girls it's impossible not to fall in love with them. You're right they're really sweet and quite humble as well despite all the success, even the fans joke they're super rich but dress like homeless people most of the time lol I enjoyed your reaction, welcome to the crazy world of kpop :)

have you ever heard about Little Mix?!
they won the X-factor UK in 2011 and are considered the biggest girlband in the world, they won 2 brits and broke alot of records such as ‚Girlgroup with the most streams on spotify(over 4 billion)‘. they are currently touring in Europe and the UK with their fifth album, unfortunately they don‘t get much promotion in the USA and Asia because their management simply doesn‘t do it. they also just released a clothing collection with Pretty Little Thing and are working on their sixth album.
Little Mix has been together for over 8 years now and the four girls truly love and support each other, they stand for girl power and equal women rights and they all been through some rough times. for example:
Jesy Nelson has been through depression and commiting suicide because she was bullied online, back in 2011 she was not as skinny as the other girls were and people were calling her out for that, she would get death threats and stuff like that. She made a documentary about it called ‚Odd one out‘ with BBC.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock is half Jamaican, when the girls won X-factor she was getting bullied online too, but then with her skin-colour. Every morning she would go on twitter and search ‚Black girl from Little Mix‘ and just read all the nasty comments that were said about her.
