I have some Alabama Dirt Digger stickers I would like to send you please PM me a P.O. Box or address..Thanks Brandon White...Made like a 13 col.GW button...Thanks again
You guys are awesome !!!! I also live in Maryland and bought all of my equipment almost a year ago. I still have not used it 😒 I don't know where to start lol .. I would love to hook up with you guys if possible ? Y'all are awesome and I know I could learn a lot to get me going. Just wondering if that would be possible to meet up one day ? Ive been wanting to do this for as long as I can remember but I don't have any buddies that are interested in metal detecting. please get back to me with an answer even if it's just for an hour that would mean a lot I'm very passionate about wanting to do this. Thank you so much and good luck on your finds my friend !
Didn't know where to put this but how do you guys clean your silver coin finds? I probably missed or forgot that along the way. Any chance of doing a video about cleaning and preserving? Thanks.
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the password. I love any assistance you can offer me!
@Cayson Heath Instablaster =)
You guys make me smile. I am 70 and have 3 detectors but no one to hunt with and I can't take the heat. So watching you makes my day!! Can't wait for the next video.
Thank you for the support Pamela
Love watching you 3 together...this old 72 year old lady love watching you find stuff from way back....keep digging and filming.....Ann from Georgia 💕 🙋
Thank you for the support Ann!
Nice to see the three of y'all together. Need to get Bill and Leo to come with the three of y'all next time. I've always wondered why they lost so many buttons back then. Between buttons and buckles I don't know how they kept their clothes on.
Before the invention of zippers buttons and buckles held everything together. There was a ton of buttons on each article of clothing
Hello Mr. Kurt, Mr. Bobby, and Mr. Brad. I’m fresh out of the hospital/rehab after 4 or 5 weeks again and I’m so tired of looking at the same three walls all the time. Mr. Bobby and Mr. Brad, it’s great to see you guys again, I hope Mr. Bill is doing good. Mr. Kurt as always thanks again for sharing your outstanding adventure with me and all of us out here. You guys really take my pain away better than any drug could not to mention just saving history!! The East Coast looks like a great place to live and explore! Thanks to all of you for sharing just a small piece of your life and letting me go along with you on your adventure. Keep digging those holes!
GET WELL SOON MR. PHILLIP!! Thank you
Hey Mr. Williams,
Great to hear you’re out of the Box. We have some outstanding footage coming up.
Get well,
Kurt
You guys are the bomb! Great finds...that other half Bobby Buttons found that matched his first half had to be one in a million, lol. I was so in shock, I was laughing hysterically! Wished I lived in your neck of the woods to find cool items like that. I tell my other half to watch you guys since he is a coin collector, lol. I sort of have him hooked in detecting.
Thank you for the support!
Best part of my day! Got to see Brad's dimples, and my hero Bob his humor, explaintions of finds, and his wa,wa were music to my ears , and all of you had some nice finds of which my favorite was Kurt's whatever it is with the mourning urn. Thanks for documenting Kurt,I hope you realize how much your videos are appreciated.I still miss Bill, Leo, and Chris the 44 guy.
Thanks! I miss them too
Very much appreciated. Hoover boys make any place feel like my home site.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and entertainment...I love watching you all..xx
Thank you for the support Lillian
@@thehooverboys no problem I'd love to metal detect but rules in Ireland are very strict in fact I think its illegal 😬😬🇮🇪❤
Wow! That’s strict
Every time I don't find anything I joke and say "Hover boys must've been here"
Haha! Wish we were that good
OMG I do the same thing!
Amazing discovery! I love that urn shield. It may be older than 1799. After I found my urn cufflink, somebody noted that funerary urn motifs began appearing in 1750s. Still, I found mine at the house site of somebody who actually knew George Washington, so I think yours is a GW urn as well. Great job! Nice to see Bob!
Thanks for the info Andy!
It's cool you guys have so much fun when digging together. That saddle shield is awesome. Keep saving that history.
Thankw Lee
It is awesome to see the three of ya'll hunting together. Looks like y'all enjoyed it as well.
I am so glad that Bobby Buttons was able to join in on the fun. Now, where is Bill?
Excellent question. He was working this day
The button-drop @16:41 had me rolling! I watched it a bunch of times. Definitely a clip for the "Best of The Hoover Boys." Really good digs fellas!
Bob always comes out of left field with the best laugh of the day
Great hunt and finds. That badge with mourning urn is incredible and I hope you are able to find some information on it. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Much appreciated! Thanks
Love me some Bobby 4:53 love the video clarity and finds. Three great guys having a great time!!
Another great video. - lots of different finds very interesting. All the best from Canada- Paul the Nickel Guy .
Good times good memories with two of your best buds, that's what it's all about Kurt.. these are the good times n days you'll always remember, thanks for sharing it with me the other friend from grass valley,ca the gold country .Nick T. .
Absolutely! Thanks Nick. Good luck getting on the gold
Good to see Bobby out with you! Fun hunt!
Great finds and great friends I am jealous but really happy for you guys. Health keeps me out of the fields but I can count on the Hoover Boys for a great vid. Thanks
Thank you for the support Dave!
Great finds and Video and Thank you HOOVER BOYS FOR THE JOY,LAUGHTER AND HISTORY 🇺🇲👊
Thank you Timmy
Cool saddle shield. Have a great week guys.
Thanks!
I really missed hearing Bobby say “nooo”. Glad he’s back!
Haha! Wish he could come every hunt
A lot of targets. Cleaned that location up some. Congratulations on your discoveries gentlemen. Some nice history saved. Best of luck on your next treasure hunt.
My weekly dose of humor. Bobby just nails it with that cut copper. When you put the two halves together I was expecting lightening followed by the apparition of the deceased, laughing his arse off while trying to be stern at the same time. Congrats on the urn shield and the same to Brad for finding the only kissable coin and to Bobby with his fancy shoe buckle frame. Gimme more!
Thank you for the support Keven! I wish I had more to give
Great find on the site guys!! Cool old relics with a few coins mixed in, made for a great episode... Oh yeah it was a wheatie so it was almost an episode!!
Thanks Kevin
great to see bob bk, love the old finds , always exciting to know you are on the money. that sheild boss is sweet man thanks for sharing, great fun episode
Much appreciated! Thanks
Hey there Hoover boys . I LOVE watching your videos so much that you inspired my husband and I to start metal detecting here in on our little island Newfoundland Canada. Keep these awesome videos coming. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That’s awesome Ruth! Let me know what you find
We already found a 1913 Newfoundland penny. And some old horse bells and buckles from horse tack
Fun Field Day! Love the mourning shield and half cent.
To cut a long msg short the fun loving footage that you boys create and provide is a true inspiration to the hobby the best narrator and bunch of boys “The hover boys “ your all awsome 🍻🇦🇺
Thanks, Kurt puts in long hours bringing our hi-jinks to the interwebs, appreciate the nice message.
Thank you for the kind words and support Trevor. Comments like this keep us going
The Hoover Boys thank you 😊
Urban Treasure Hunting thank you brad 👍
That was fun to watch thanks guys!!!!
Awesome finds and thanks for sharing always watch y'alls videos you guys find lots of cool relics
Thanks Steven
@@thehooverboys your welcome anytime
Great video to watch guy's, very fun. Congrats on the great finds! If that thimble would have been whole it would have been a sweet one! Thanks for sharing. GL&HH!
So great to see u guys together....
Need more Bobby!
Great hunt guys , lots of cool finds and lots of fun ,can't beat days like that out with friends , GL & HH , ATB Paul
Thanks Paul. ATB
Love u guys! I get as excited in your artifacts as I do. Just watched Brad dig his gold coin from another episode. If you guys are ever in central NY, please stop and say hi. I have Parkinson's and beginning stages of dementia and you guys are on my bucket list. Be blessed and happy hunting!
Great video, first time tuning-in from Billings Montana. I'm seeing some relics that I've never seen before. Make sure Bobby takes care of himself there's got to be some super cool head covers for you outdoor types.
Thank you for the support Suzan
He said it!!! All holes Matter! Did you ever find any info on the shield? Glad to see Bob! LFOD!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
“Pompeii” was the name of the city near the volcano that Bob was talking about.
Yes! He was a little off his game
Congrats on finding that unmapped home site. Bobby buttons is back with a vengeance. Quick tip on cut coins. The cut edge of most cut coins have a bevel on one side. If you hold it up with the face of the coin pointing at you, on one side you will see the cut edge but the other side you won't because of the bevel.
Thanks Yoman
Awesome glad to see y’all back on the good finds!
Thanks William
Another awesome video. Thank you for sharing. ATB. Happy Hunting Everyone.
I don't own a detector. Haven't detected in about 40 years. But every Wednesday I get giddy when you post. Sorry about the permissions. Maybe google map an area and go hard in the paint knockin? I don't know what your current method is. Love the video's regardless.
Thank you for the support. That’s pretty much what we do
Awesome early finds!! Nice when you come across old homestead👍🏼👍🏼
Very promising land, great old stuff. Enjoyed that guys, well done
@12:23 Bob's saving grace
guys your comedy while hunting is great and your finds are like a detecting of 2 half's nice 1 guys
well it sure was good seeing you 3 again, having a good time, thanks
Thanks Iona
Awesome hunt hard to believe he found both half’s
Great seeing Bobby again. He always makes an episode fun.
He’s the best
Love it Brotha! Great old spot. Wtg all on the coins and buttons...cept the wheatie...plllbbbt. Hope to see you guys in a couple weeks.
Can’t wait Brandon
Good to see you out and about finding on a new gaff. Good luck to you all.
Thanks Paul
Some cracking finds on your new permission 👍. Slainte 🥃 from Scotland
I found half of a silver pocket watch in one of my local permissions, a year and a half later I found the other half. I knew it had to be there in the field (it was 30 yards away from the first half find).
Man you have to love this hobby! 👍
That’s awesome Gary!
@@thehooverboys I would love to send you my best ever button found. No spoilers! But if you get in touch I'll send you it. (email on my about page). In fact get in touch and I'll send you a box of stuff that will blow your mind. 😎👍
Kurt and I missed the Bobby BIG TIME. Hoover2 is hard business. Insert last week's episode here ( )
Haha! This would have been a repeat of last week if Bobby wasn’t there to find the hot spot
Nice saddle shield Kurt! Killer
Much appreciated! Thanks
Yay! I Love me some Bob! Hes too funny ! That shield is pretty kool! I have learned something new yet again watching your vidayoos!
Thanks Sis
The thing that has the urn on it, would have been attached to the end of a leather strap to make it easier to thread through the buckle. Thanks is very cool!
Thanks Greg
Turned out to be a good day for you guys nice finds.
You guys had an amazing dig, nice dandy buttons and that shield, Kurt display it with your GW button, just a thought. Enjoyed the video and as always Be Safe and HH my friends.
The thing that Bob found at 15:43 is a thumbpiece off of a 1700's flintlock musket or smooth bore hunting gun called a fowler. Google "flintlock fowler thumbpiece" and click images and you will see what I mean. GREAT FIND!
Great ID! Thanks Erick
The horses that moved hearses would have their tack tastefully decorated.
Absolutely. Thank you
Good to see Bobby! Lordy you three make me laugh! Love it.
Congrats Guys and about time Bobby showed up. But still waiting on Leo and Bill
Glad to see Bobby buttons hes a hoot nice finds and vid guys thanks
Thanks Alan!
I love it. Hilarious guys. Glad to see you got another one in. Brad finally got it
"All Moles Hatter" uh, i mean you know what I mean. Thanks for the laughs boys-
hahah I forgot about that. Fitting for this episode. heh.
Great Hunt. Good to see Bobby back.
Much appreciated! Thanks
Sweet finds guys congratulations
Nice job fellers!!!!!!!!
Nice finds guys. Fun to watch y'all.
Wonder what the distance was between Bobby's half buttons.
Think the copper half’s we within 20 feet
Thanks
Awesome finds, Grats Hooverboys.
congrats on all your finds!
Hey truckie! Love those old homesites where you have to dig it all. See ya at pound the ground. 👍🏻. Stay safe!
Thanks! See you there
👍😁 Way to go Guy's!
Love you guys ❤️❤️
Love you back
Absolutely awesome finds
Thanks Bill
Love watching yinz guys. Look forward to see what yinz dig up next and joke around about. That was amazing that Bobby found both halves of the same coin and Kurt found that Urn rein guide. I think it is cool the history that yinz dig up and save. Keep up the great work and eat your lunch. Luv yinz!!
I wish Bobby would of found that little bit that was missing from his coin, now that would of been a find of the day! Lol
We joked about it. Thanks!
Bobby's big button! LOL Great history saving stuff boys!
Bobby buttons! You have no idea how happy I am right now, Kurt. Meat-paw it, lol. I love it.
Thank you for the support!
I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Made my day. Bobby is old stuff.
Man that shoebuckle is sweet. too bad it was broken. I have found two in all my days of hunting and lucky for me both were one piece with the center missing. another great video as always. Good luck. see you next time.
That shoe buckle frame with ring and dot decoration. the ring and dot was popular during saxon times, and was revived in the late 1600's. i'd date that frame to 1680 ish
Holy Crap!! Awesome finds, Awesome Video.
Thanks Tim
Got to be on guard when the tree frogs come out !
Haha
Love the Pompeii plumbing. 😂
Haha
an old beanpot full of old beans!! you guys are awesome and yous make me laugh!! Great vids , keep on keepin on!!
Haha! Thanks
SHOCKER !!!!! I can't believe Brad says ALL HOLES MATTER that in itself was worth watching the video. Great finds as always guys.
It just came out. I committed to the idea, and then went for it.
The ol' coin and thumb swipe😵...Enjoying your post anyway...
Y'all are one of the very few believable sites I watch...Thanks fellas.👍
Thanks Philip. We have some unbelievable footage coming up. If I wasn’t there. I wouldn’t believe it
One of my great grandfathers owned land on the James river in Virginia during the late 1600s to early 1700s. He eventually sold some land to George Dabney. Of course, other ancestors owned land from then on. It would be so cool to go to some of the sites to see if I could find anything
Sounds like an amazing site!
Excellent video and hunt ! Congrats on all Ya`ll finds and good luck on your next hunt ! Hey I bet you all were hunting Paul Revere Homestead ! Paul Revere was an American silversmith, engraver, early industrialist, and Patriot in the American Revolution
That would we wild! I’m sure he lost some silver
This is why you should dig it all. Great finds.
Another awesome video from the Hoover Boys.
Thanks Eugene
So glad to see Bobby again so funny congrats guys always a cool video
Way to get on it guys! I am working on one I just can't seem to get on the goods! Thanks again!
