Here is my own personal swing model for past 8-9 years. I never get stuck and still hit the ball hard and straight ... it's simple with very few angles. Similar to early Cutis Strange, Calvin Peete , Rocco Mediate, Byron Nelson & Hal Sutton. ( I don't like the swing you were just experimenting with in your loft.... your elbow is stuck in farther back) ... you wife gets a long broom stick standing to the side of you to the right, slipping the broom stick between your arms and your chest wall .... From there you swing back never going inside the broom stick boundary. ... that's what it feels like to keep your arms in front of you.
