At dark shine a flash light on it and if you can see it reflect at night really well it should be ok. Normally DOT reflective tape is Red/White reflective tape you can buy it on Amazon for cheap

My 17 year old nephew just bought a ‘03 Ram 1500 SLT with the big guy motor. Good ole 5.7 Hemi Magnum. Original owner ( a good friend) put a K&N air intake on it and Gibson Exhausts. It’s making 390 or 400hp now. Damn nice truck. Clean... 203k miles on it though... runs fantastic it’ll last him this decade. He tell me he wants to put another ‘03 5.7 Magnum engine in the truck if the one it’s got now dies. Engine still got it’s power and runs fantastic so it’ll last him this decade. It got another 150k on it I’m sure. Maybe a little less than 100k. That truck is a goer!

The reflectors are suposed to be 12 inches each. You should go to Utility on Wallisvile and get the actual reflectors not the tape. They are $1.25 each. Less expensive than that tape you got. Uhg! You cut the tape? Bad move. Nect time yoy get pulled over it is going to be a violation. Again.

What's up brother gotta question, have you used that aluminum brighter before. Gotta 48' walking floor trailer that needs some love and tryna see if it works before I buy it. Also I use the reflective tape you use for the trailer and just cut the red part off.
It works well, if you follow the instructions! I used some on the truck I drive that hadn't been loved in god knows how long, with a wash, aluminum brightener and some mothers it was back to a mirror finish, but it does clean the aluminum very well
i got mine in michigan at 19, legally allowed to at 18 as long as you dont cross state lines Aka Intrastate. At 21 you can cross state lines aka interstate.
I would rather have too much reflective tape to be seen then have people not pay attention and rear end me. It’s better to be safe then be sorry. The more reflective tape you have on it the less chances your get rear ended by someone on there phone by the time glair happens they will see you
I dont know if its still required but i think you are suppose to have a sign that reads fire extinguisher inside the compartment where you have your extinguisher. It use to be required .not sure if it still is or not. Rules may have changed since those days. Be safe and god bless dude

You need DOT reflective tape and they must be 6 inches for both sides of the truck but it needs to be DOT tape.
