Very nice but how do i run one of the in a power station without drilling holes in it to run the wire out for the display screen ...? im asking this becuase i dont want to stuff my warranty up @KickAss Products
G'day Anthony,i have experimented with this & the way i did it is drilled into the box,as far as warranty goes your not going to effect the operation of any of the components by drilling a hole in the battery box so i would not be fussed or worry about it warranty wise - just use common sense, remove the battery etc before drilling - there is also another option i tried & by removing the inside plastic base & removing the red push button switch that powers the volt meter (remember you are now putting a lcd screen that shows the info),so the volt meter will no longer work but i was able to insert the white plug end of the harness that connects the screen to the shunt - the plug hanging out was kind of ugly i thought
i preferred the neat little slot i made by tracing around the white plug just below the lid base near the side handle drilled 2 x 6mm holes one above each other & cut out a slot using Stanley knife, was nice & neat
as per any custom install your limit is your imagination - have fun with it
@@KickAssProductshi kickass you wouldnt happen to have any photos you can share of how you installed this as per your reply to Anthonys question. Be interested to see how it looks by replacing the volt meter with this
hey guys, ive hooked the power cable for my shunt up to a fuse block. the screen for the display turns on and off all the time and i haven’t got anything connected to the anderson plugs that are connected to the fuse block. does it turn on and off because the shunt it picking up that the fuse block is powering the screen?
thanks

@@KickAssProducts thanks 🍻
Can you just run it straight off the positive and negative off the battery?
Absolutely,hanks for watching the video
cheers Craig
Do I require a extra negative joiner if running 2 x120 battery’s?
Had my shunt running fine until I had no loads on the battery for a few weeks and no it just says it’s got 3% and keeps alarming how do I reset the shunt.
G'day damo, try pressing & holding the top arrow on lhs of the unit & that will reset it
Cheers Craig
Thanks mate just done that and it has sorted out the issue
Hey so can I run this on my lithium battery? Non KA…
G'day mate, for sure that's what it was designed for as not all manufactures include bluetooth & monitoring capabilities in there batterys like ours do
thanks for watching
Cheers Craig
how can you run a whole bunch of accessories off it from one place?
G'day, the shunt measures the amount of current flowing in & out from the negative side of the battery, just connect all your earths as you normally would to the 2nd terminal on the shunt & bob's your uncle :)
Can I use this monitor on a lithium battery?
Sure can if you have another brand of lithium battery that has no connectivity built in then it will be spot on
Thanks for watching
Cheers Craig
No instructions in box ????
G'day Palma, all instructions are on web site sorry, just trying to do our best environmentally & keep it electronic - here is the link for you

cheers craig
too fast and not enough attention onto how to actually wire the thing up. even after wathing it a few times still not clear to me. slow it down, step it out. you are not there to sell the shunt - just to help people install it! IMHO.
G'day Stephend, the video was a product info video not an install ,sorry about my lingo mate i often get told i talk to fast, the instructions for install are on the box just scan the code & it takes you to the set up instructions & how to enter all the ifo into the display unit,
Cheers Craig
