I too came to Christ from the New Age…And I kid you not, days before my water baptism, I told my friends that I felt the same feelings as I did before my wedding to my husband. Its true, being baptized is about becoming the “bride” of Christ. Man or woman, we the church are the bride of Christ…Side note, when I was water baptized I was baptized in the cold ocean on a misty day. As I was being baptized, my body was warm. I was not shivering in the cold water.

You said New Age is for “control freaks”, but Ill go one step further…New Age is for trauma survivors who need healing. What we are taught in the New Age is that we are in control of our reality. But in Christianity, we learn that God is really in control. Jesus can not only save us, he can heal us too.

I couldnt stay focused or interested. I wish the interview wouldve started out with Lorna's childhood experience , - what led her to new age - and then how she came to Christ. To grab my attention. But ih well. I subscribed so i will be back trying to stay interested long enough to watch another testimony or interview sometime in the future. Sorry. Just thought id be honest. Hopefully your interviews bring alot of glory to God. He is worthy of it all.

I'm still finding it so difficult to get out of new age/ thought and spiritualism. I can't even read the bible without the messed up way I conditioned myself to understand it. Whenever I try to pray I feel nothing, nothing at all. I'm trying to continue watching new age to Jesus videos and testimonies like this. But I feel lost.
Hey love thank you for this comment. Give yourself grace & time. Some of us take time. I certainly did. Ask Jesus to daily work on you. To understand. Find a good Bible believing church & a Bible study to be part of. Over time it will change you

24:09 amazing how many roadblocks there are. This world is fallen since the beginning. But yes, something claims to be perfect would put doubt in anybody. It is difficult to wrap your mind around it.

I have a legit question lol! I am currently in this process. I was heavy in the new age and I recently converted over to Christ. Jesus saved me honestly he kept coming into my life and I kept pushing him away but I’ve finally accepted him.
My question is though, I operated on the frequency mindset for a while like abundance mindset. Manifesting mindset. I truthfully believe that is true tho?? Right?? Like your thoughts are creating your reality and if you have a lack mindset your life will lack. I’m just now trying to understand how to incorporate Christ with all of this, because I don’t want to fall into lack. But I know with Jesus I don’t lack anything.
What are your thoughts on this. Can we still be in abundance frequency but have Christ?
I think the answer to this for me is going to require a video. Because I totally understand what you're saying. This biggest difference is in new age it was a constant managing of the "frequency" and now we don't do that. There's so much to this answer I don't think I can do it justice here. I dont know how you discovered that new age was a deception. Cause i only hear about the inner voice of Baptisting?
Not sure I understand your question, but I guess God showed me the deception of new age.

The question was about Lorna. How she discovered. She talks about inner voice that convinced her to be baptised. Dont know of that was the reason she discovered that new age was deception.
The Lords voice is a still small voice. We have to be quiet & pay attention to hear it. And obedient to follow it. She already knew new age was deceptive & the more she listened to the Lord the more the scales fell from her eyes about new age deception.@@jessicaburgers

@@jessicaburgers it can be a process. My personal experience of it is that as soon as someone asks, even if their faith is only the size of a mustard seed, as soon as they sincerely ask God in He begins His work on them.

Oh I see what you're asking. Here's my interpretation...When people repeatedly turn away from God he lets the go & allows their heart to be hardened against him. So it's a persons choice to be disobedient over & over again that leads to a hardened heart. But that's not to say they are fully & forever lost. God will always take some one no matter how hard their heart. Ezekiel 11:19

@@jessicaburgers its kind of a bad translation. It should more be like "and God strengthen his heart." Which does sound better and makes more sense. His heart (how you are thinking. Your heart and thoughts are the same) so he was thinking of conquering but God simply strengthen his thinking to how he will do it.
@@centpushups Didn't God harden the heart of the most powerful man of Egypt in his day? And then choose when it would not be, so that the people of Israel could leave? God has the power to do anything, whenever, in any way He chooses.
