Hi Sister! Thank you for sharing your story. I'm a believer from(and in) Japan. Middle-aged woman. I have similar experiences which started when I was approaching age 40-45. I saw impersonated ones many times too. I asked for help from churches in Tokyo (English speaking ones) but no one tried nor believed. Be glad the Lord pulled you out of darkness. I distinctly remember watching one hell video where the demons torment someone who was a New Ager by throwing big rocks at them, laughing and saying 'pray to the rocks to save you'. Basically mocking how gullible they were to think crystals/rocks do anything. But this wasn't like little pebbles, they were sizeable rocks and the demons have incredible strength so the person would be bashed repeatedly. Finding Jesus is better than winning any lottery.

Hi, lovely testimony. I'm new to Christ and also from new age practices which I came into because I was searching for healing for my Chronic fatigue and pain and for the answer to life knowing there must be more - a reason . I've recently come across DNRS brain retraining which I feel I should try for my illness as I feel out of options after years of suffering but I'm conflicted because I think it uses affirmations and a few meditations which I feel opposed to now since leaving new age. Do you have an opinion on doing brain retraining like DNRS while being christian? Many thanks.

WHAT EVERYONE DESERVES TO KNOW ABOUT HEAVEN:
Jesus Christ destroyed the barrier of sin between God and mankind at the cross so we can have peace with Him and have assurance we’ll make it to heaven.
WHY WOULD HE DO THAT? The Bible (God's only trustworthy Word for the human race) tells us: All of us were born with an unrighteous sinful nature. We inherited it spiritually from Adam and Eve, the first two created people, because of their disobedience to God by giving into the devil's deceiving temptation. Why would the devil do such a thing anyway? Because he hates God! The devil wants no one enjoying intimate, joyous relationship with God. He once had it yet lost it, and now wants no one else having it either.
God is so holy - so righteous - so pure … that He cannot and will not allow unrighteous sinners to remain with Him in heaven. But God had a plan to undo what Satan did to the human race. Jesus Christ IS the plan! Jesus came to earth to ransom you and everyone else for Himself, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit. He took full punishment for your sins against God and the sins of everyone else on the cross so our sins no longer would keep us separated from God. Furthermore, He traded His righteousness for our unrighteousness through His death, burial and resurrection! (See: 2 Corinthians 5:21. It is ONLY God’s IMPUTED righteousness that makes us acceptable to Him - that is FREELY given to us who make Jesus our Savior and Lord.
Imagine being in a courtroom, and the Judge has just sentenced you to death. Also imagine Jesus Christ being your lawyer. Jesus Christ says to the Judge (or in other words, God the heavenly Father): "Your Honor, I want to serve my client's sentence and pay the price for his/her wrong-doing by dying instead so my client can go free." Can you imagine someone doing such a thing for you?! JESUS DID IT!
Of course you may be thinking at that moment: I haven't done anything to be sentenced to die! I'm being falsely accused! "What have I supposedly DONE, God?!" Here's your answer: God gave 10 commandments for people to keep in the Old Testament Bible. Anyone who breaks just one of those commandments must be punished for breaking them against God. Where does it say THAT?! It says that in Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Have you ever lied? Lied just one time? Everyone of us has lied at least once. Number 9 of the 10 commandments says: Thou shalt not lie (bear false witness). You know what that makes us? A disobedient sinning liar against God and His moral law - His 10 commandments. (Revelation 21:8 also tells us what God thinks of lying).
You just read above what God says about our disobedient sinning against Him by breaking just ONE of His moral laws: God’s punishment for doing so is DEATH. Spiritual death. Ultimately total separation from God and agonizingly suffering for our sins against Him for all eternity -- totally void of any love, peace, hope, joy or forgiveness from God ever again (otherwise known as hell).
BUT HERE IS GOD'S BEST NEWS! We can receive forgiveness for all our unrighteous, disobedience (sins) against God and our sins against others RIGHT NOW and have certainty RIGHT NOW that on the Judgment Day, our sins WON'T be held against us! HOW CAN THAT BE?! By asking Jesus Christ to forgive us for our sins and trusting that He HAS forgiven us of them simply by our asking and trusting! Jesus will do it!
1 John 1:8-9 says: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thus if we make Jesus our personal Lord and Savior - every time we sin - we have every right to ask Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sin(s) - cleanse us as though we never sinned - so that when our heart stops beating, we can be assured that we won't have to suffer eternal damnation for our sins.
Jesus Christ did what no other human being has ever done or ever could do. He was the ONLY person on this planet who has never sinned. And because He never sinned, He is the only acceptable sacrifice God the Father would accept to pay ransom payment for each of OUR sins. That is simply AMAZING, isn't it?! Yet JESUS DID IT!
WHY? Because of God’s LOVE and MERCY for lost souls like you and I who will reach out in humility and demonstrate appreciation for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness (pardon) so we can have friendship and intimacy with Him starting now ... and lasting for ETERNITY! This life is your starting point with your loving Creator that will last for eternity. Ask Jesus for His FREE GIFT of forgiveness TODAY. Ask Him to live inside you. He WANTS to!

I began a “path toward God” as a new college graduate and had journaled that I wanted to have a relationship with God but I didn’t want it to be a “crutch”. I had very naive and undeveloped opinions about the church and so my first step was to read a new age book. Thank the Lord He intercepted that initial deception with a loving, godly Aunt who took the time to listen to me and then share the plan of salvation with me. She gently explained how the enemy can only counterfeit what God has done and that his ultimate desire is to kill, steal and destroy. It turned my world upside down and I struggled at first, but over the next couple of weeks, she patiently answered my questions. It was her love for God and me that led me to confessing Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am forever grateful. Thank you for sharing your testimony, I pray your love and gentleness will speak volumes to those who are lost and searching. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience of christian women in the early days of your tutning towards Christ. I met a wonderful catholic woman when I was 33 who enfolded me, showered me with affection and showed me the beginnings of the walk back towards Christ. We parted ways approx in that first year and I gradually found my way forward ❤

I love hearing that dots are connecting for you. Sadly, this is true. The enemy is sneaky. he knows scripture and he knows how to use others to distort the word. Stay faithful my friend. God's word (the bible) has the answers we seek and we must continue to diligently cross reference others teachings with what God says.
Why do we seek?
Is there any reason to seek a better future
if we're fully comfortable and content
with the way our body feels now?
When thoughts slow down,
you may notice that there is discomfort in the body,
which may show up in a myriad of ways:
pain, anxiety, anger, or any other sensation or emotion...
This is part of the reason that we get addicted to thought-
because it’s an immediately available way
to avoid or try to fix
the way our bodies feel.
We won't be able to rest in presence for very long
if we keep ignoring or avoiding discomfort.
Rather, we'll continue to follow thoughts about past and future...
We'll keep trying to escape...
So, how do we bring direct attention to the energies of our body?
The first step is to acknowledge that you are feeling something.
We tend to acknowledge emotions and sensations first through the mind...
We might think, "I’m angry," or "I’m afraid of what might happen,"
or we may simply notice that something is bothering us...
But we can't feel emotions or sensations through thinking.
These thoughts are narratives or labels for how we feel.
They are not the actual energies themselves.
For example, if you have the thought "I have a stomachache,"
that thought is a label for something that is actually happening in your body...
In order to actually feel or experience the stomachache directly,
you would have to bring attention down into the stomach area
and feel it without thoughts on it...
The same is true for all emotions and sensations.
Once you acknowledge that you feel something
or have been triggered by someone or some event,
bring attention very gently to the body
where you feel the actual emotion or sensation...
With your attention there, feel into the sensation or emotion,
and see if you can notice the peripheral space around it at the same time.
Let the emotion or sensation just hang there in that open space,
without trying to change, neutralize, or get rid of it.
It is common to want to change, neutralize, or get rid of bodily energies.
Just notice any tendency to want to do these things.
This is resistance at work,
and trying to stop that resistance from happening
is simply adding more resistance.
Bear in mind that we give power to words, pictures, and bodily energies
by turning awareness away from them.
And we diminish their power by turning toward them
and remaining aware of them until they fade naturally.
That one simple understanding,
if turned into a daily practice,
is highly transformative.

I was just thinking about this kind of stuff today. I am on a healing journey for intestinal issues. Torn between relying solely on God, or using the power and authority God gave me. I followed Joe Dispenza‘s work for a long time. If you’re not familiar, he leads people into, your meditation where they connect with an infinite source/God. Teaches them to bless each energy Center. Many of them are able to connect and feel the love that they have never felt before. Like a heavenly encounter. Many of them that are able to get deep enough into their meditation experience what they call bliss. Some are able to have an instantaneous healing. Others meditate every night until things slowly get better. But none of them say that God healed them. They say they healed themselves through meditation. As Christians we are taught to meditate on God‘s word. To see ourselves the way God sees us. At the same time, meditation through his work is very similar so I don’t want to follow his work if it is not of God. I am completely torn. If we have the power and authority that God gave us to heal ourselves, and to lay hands and heal others, then how is some of the new age meditation, and a different? Just curious about your thoughts on that
Brandy, yes I'm familiar with Dr. D's work. I too got caught up in it as it's alluring to think that I might have untapped power within. But that way of thinking puts us into the role of little god (lowercase g) and not dependent upon on true God (capital G). Much of Dr. D's teachings reference bible teaches, but that are taken out of context. Healing power and authority in the bible was given to the apostle's given to them directly from the Lord. This power was NOT given to all people. Healing comes ONLY from Lord and he has the power to say yes, no, or not right now. As Christians who are meant to be meditating on the word, we're talking about directing our thinking towards the Lord Jesus Christ. This is different to many New Ages teachers who tells to clear our minds, think of nothing or give us specific (unbiblical) mantras to recite, or to go inward and focus on the power within, NOT the Holy Spirit, NOT Jesus. Thank you for this question. If you have more let's explore them together. I won't pretend to have the answers, because I don't but perhaps we can grow in Christ together through conversations like these. I went to 2 of his retreats and immediately after i started to encounter spirits, OCD, intrusive thoughts, horrific nightmares, meanwhile thinking I was releasing stored up trauma and it’s part of the healing process. I stopped doing his work and was led to call out to Jesus. All the intrusive thoughts went away

I understand what you are saying, but most *religious 'testimonies'* rarely mean much to a third party listener.. because those 'testimonies' almost always involve some *heightened emotional, vulnerable state of mind.*
And many times, *emotions* coupled with a *'belief system'* can make us susceptible to *accept* things that *aren't exactly... correct.*
And should probably be taken with a 'grain of salt'.

As I've lived 37 years without Christ and only a few short months with Him and there is no doubt in my mind that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. This is very interesting information you are sharing with me. I am from the new age community where I believed everything about it up until recently. When I started to realise there's so much to do, trying to keep up with everything and to have my positive thoughts, and feelings in balance everyday to help me manifest my dreams. I have been to Christian church a few times over the last couple of years and the people are lovely. My daughter is Christian she has asked me to join, and the vicor has to. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I can see how difficult it was for you, but I wanted to share two things that resonated with me. First, I’ve often felt something was missing since my testimony doesn’t include some dramatic event, but it doesn’t need to. The analogy of an usher with a flashlight taking you to your seat is perfect and your words remind me that I shouldn’t want for a dramatic conversion story-I should only want to follow Christ. I was so open-minded that I went to open my chakras and engaged in new age meditations. As a result I became oppressed by demons. It was calling out Jesus' name that saved me and that gave me peace.
God bless you my sister, I love you story, I live in the USA and want to move to Singapore 🇸🇬 and teach God word and I can't because of legal reasons and now it's holds me back from getting a US passport to leave this country, so to be honest I am a prisoner in this country, please pray for me that God can change this this issue in my life, because south east Asia is a good place to Start a ministry.i that is really what I want to do in my life ,but a passport holds me back and I don't feel safe in the USA now all the bad things going on here ,it's getting worse and worse by the day all my friends move out to Asia where life is cheap and I am stuck in the US, please pray for me thanks.

My journey is similar minus no foundation of Jesus and only unGodly relationships. Lol but He also started knocking during a road trip and then had traumatic experiences that led me to say what’s the truth. And Jesus showed up. Only good thing abt New age is that those that keep seeking will find the Truth. It’s so hard to share these testimonies and I get the embarrassment. But God will surely use it for good. ✝️💟

Amén 🙏 Ive also seen a huge demon over my bed. He disguised himself and my baby girl at first coming to my room when I was falling asleep and then turn into his true image. After which I became paralyzed (sleep paralysis) it was only when I started to call on the name of Jesus in my mind that I was able to break free then poof it all stopped.. I never been the same since

BTW we immigrated to Europe 11 years ago and in our first rental the previous occupants had left behind a course in miracles. Mistaking it for Christian material I thought it was really cool. But it wasn't long before I realized how unbiblical it was and tossed it.
