I can appreciate the effort but you should just learn to fly fish and tie real flies, I've been fly fishing maui for 25 yrs and can tell you the catch rate is easily 3:1 against any whipping rig guarantee. if you youtube videos about gt fishing at Alphonse in the Seychelle Islands you'll see real ulua fly fishing. go online and buy some good tools to tie, get a bobbin for your thread, and learn how to tie a whip finish when you're done. you have a good idea but if you learn how to do it right they will last.
