Bees Need ALOT Of Water

Bees in a strong hive will use 3 or 4 gallons of water per day in the hot summer. Just something to consider for your bees that they will usually choose the closest water source which could be a neighbor's pool or even animal watering containers. If you keep a water source very close or use a feeder and give them gallons of water per day they can use their effort to make a few gallons of honey per hive.
