I’m an incoming sophomore at Yale University with the class of 2023! I love creating videos, learning about astronomy, and spending way too much time scrolling through memes. New video every Friday
Yale is my absolute dream school and it really made me happy that it is such a great school. I was worried that the teachers wouldn’t be nice and the environment would be bad but I’m glad my worries got lifted. Thank you for posting this. Really relieved a lot of anxiety.
naw don’t worry- my experience has been nothing but positive thankfully, you’ll prolly find the right atmosphere no matter what
This is my dream school and after watching this I want to go there even more. But I don’t see myself getting in 😭
Ahhh I honestly never saw myself gettin in either, but that goes to show that nothing’s impossible!! Just keep grinding & put your heart into your application / essays. You got this, i believe in ya!!🙏

Yale is a great school but studying in this kind of schools doesn’t come cheap, as a student your financial capabilities are limited to your guardians or in other case student loans. Starting up a side investment can be very helpful and would take the burdens of debts and the financial struggles of been a student away.
I remembered my days back in university of Columbus I was faced with lots of students loan. Which set me back a lot on debt even after been a graduate.
There is also the stress of trying to work multiple jobs to pay back😠
Am still paying mine, what side investment do you mean tho.
@@annasawyer9081 getting into the concepts of the financial market and taking advantage of it, owning a solid stock investing portfolio thanks to finance fluent has help take that burden of debts and student loans away.
@@aryanmalhotra4520 I have only tried investing a bit on bitcoin but it didn’t end well, I don’t know about stocks. How good can this be?

Watching your videos and learning about all the new things that Yale provides for its undergraduates which never existed when I attended makes me want to do Yale all over again a second time.!!! Wow!! How much Yale has changed....(for the better!!!)
aww, welp, at least you can visit campus and stroll down memory lane once its safe to do so! glad to hear things have been changing for the better, it's interesting to think about how things used to be and see how far they've come

I am Saudi and I study in my country but because most of the series I watched Like(Gossip girl & Gilmore girl) mentioned Yale University I was curious and excited about this amazing university and I looked for it and found your video, and as I expected it is a beautiful environment! 🥺❤️

Anna, I have been following your videos since you first started uploading, I still remember you saying that you would want to pursue astrophysics, but you ended up doing filmmaking(i guess?)like a chad, I am a Yale Young Global Scholar Alumni, and you gave me a perspective on how to go about college essays through your other videos and that sort of helped me get into YYGS, I have a plethora of answers to provide for the "why yale" essay, but here I am looking again at this video 3 years later, Just in case I don't miss out mentioning the first things that made me fall in love with Yale. Cheers! Your videos are still making an impact.

I went to see New Haven (mostly the immediate area around Yale) and I fell in love with it even more. I know that the chances of getting in are very low but I am still applying just in case. Also, the Yale study spaces are 10/10.
Eyy, I’m happy to hear you’re applying!💙🐶 Don’t worry about what people say are the chances of getting in, especially since you loved it so much!! If you don’t even apply, the chances of getting in are 0, so definitely apply & just pour your heart into your application!! :)

Anna Reynoso like you said, all of the support systems that they have available for their students. The surrounding area is also great, I got to talk to a lady at Dunkin Donuts and we talked about hiking spots in the surrounding area.
Ahh yesss!! :)) did she tell you about East Rock??! I haven’t been, but there are a lot of outings to watch the sun rise there. It seems so amazing, i really wanna do it when i‘m back on campus
Anna Reynoso yeah, also New Haven is like a 10 minute drive from the beach... i did not realize that before I visited
Yeshhh, i almost forgot about the beach!! Campus is honestly in such a good location actually. Lotta distinct places nearby (the ones we said +NYC/Boston are relatively close)

@@yesimkhanh9932 no I did not end up getting in. I made it to the interview process and I was super nervous and weird lol. I did however get into Pomona which ended up being the best fit for me and my needs!

I am currently a tenth grader but I have already started practicing for my SAT(We take that in grade 12) and looking for colleges I really want enter Yale but I feel people from Africa aren't really there and I kinda feel I'll be odd
My dream is Yale too, and you may be from Africa, but Yale is very diverse and race doesn’t matter! What matters if you’re smart enough and talented enough to be able to attend Yale. You are worth just as much as anyone, and work hard and you’ll be able to get anything in life. Good luck!

How hard is it to double major? I've heard it's an absurdly low number
ouufff, good question. i’m prolly not the best to ask cuz i don’t have a lot of experience w/ that. it might not be overwhelmingly common, but it’s definitely possible! i think it mainly depends on which 2 majors you wanna declare (that is, if you’re able to fulfill all of the pre-reqs and reqs for both of them during your four years while, ya know, maintaining your sanity)

One thing that definitely pushed me to want to apply to yale in contrast to other Ivy leagues is due to their consistent advertisement that they genuinely care for the students rather than their money. I'm not dirt poor, but paying the school's actual worth for 4 years would drive me into debt immediately!! Their guarantee to cover tuition is insanely refreshing 😭
