Sick of hard narrow bike seats I now custom build my own seat on all my bikes so for the H450 and CRF250L I made them one piece and narrow and low near the tank for stopping and widened it to a full saddle and all the way back for confortable very long rides. I use 3mm ply and pull it down into the frame with string to follow the S shape then glue another on top and use temporary screws to sandwich them togeter, then use a slightly softer foam and sculp it to shape with knives and grinders, then staple vinyl on. Its a job worth the effort once you feel how much more comfortable it is and it still functions good offroad.
Seat looks great! Probably a good thing for the shorter leg riders. Not likely the best choice for long, long rides but a sheepskin makes every seat a bit better.
I like the rally seat, so thanks for the info. I will probably get one. I have the Givi windscreen on my Himalayan 450. It's quite big and not as thick as the original. I'm not sure whether it's perhaps too tall and possibly more fragile. Unfortunately shipping the WRS to Canada doubles the price. Maybe I'll have to visit Iowa.
