he is the best I ever heard he one me back to a Lost and dying world after my husband die I though I would never come out of the darkness I was in but I started listening to David Phelps sing it took a while for me to get back into listening to gospel music again I was just in a dark place I was just angry and mad at God I guess but I came out of it and realize God didn't do anything wrong it was just his time and he was sick and tired of this world and he wanted to go and to heaven and he wanted to go first he didn't want to be left alone Down Here Without Me but now I'm left alone while I'm not really alone I have god with me in my heart waiting to go up there to see him and every time I listen to David saying I can just see heaven and see my husband up there just having a time of his life my mom and dad's up there my two brothers a lot of my family and friends my grandparents I just want to see all of them again all my friends no one person I want to see is my savior I want to know what he looks like the one that gave everything to me done everything he loved me that much to hang on the cross and die I don't think I love anybody that much on this Earth to die for accept my son I would have died for my husband but I couldn't but I know I would die for my son he's all I have left on this Earth but I want to stay on this Earth for a little bit longer I don't want him to be left alone by himself I know I have to keep going but I just want to thank David Phelps for bringing me back out at dark dark place I was in and back to God I just praise him every day what he has done for me so if you ever get to thinking you're not doing any good you are you may not know it but you know that you're doing great you're reaching people with your wonderful voice the voice of an Angel
@lisaodle8508 what a Beautiful story of how dark grief can be & how lost we can get in it. My Dad has been gone 20yrs Christmas and I just hate to see it come but I know it's Jesus's Birthday and it makes me feel sad I don't want to celebrate that. I found a song it's called a New Kid in Town Chris Young & Alan Jackson sing it all I can think of is you know they were looking for that new kid just a normal baby I suppose heaven knows. It just makes HIS DAY SPECIAL!!! When you get a little past your grief Guy sings a song just blesses me so it's called Knowing You'll Be There makes it Easy to Go Home I am not good with titles but I know you can find it with those words. My eyes are about shot for the day. God Bless You & I will pray for you. My Dad was my everything we had sang together since I was 5 I will be 65 this yr & I can't sing with out him. But you keep pushing forward. 1 day we will make by the blood of the lamb.
