I will never forget this. I was 14 and we had gotten gospel music television, and it was the first time I was ever able to watch the convention and if I remember correctly, this was the debut of Russ Taff, and I wasn’t happy. I had grown up with Mark and I did not understand why Russ was so Easy to pick because I didn’t think he was that great of a singer. As I’ve gotten older, and learned about his older stuff, and what an impact he’s had, I think he’s one of the greatest singers to ever live, but this particular evening was very very special to me and I’m delighted to see it.
Love this but they needed a better audio engineer. I remember NQC took a couple years to get audio for video sounding ok. Mix is terrible. Can't even hear David on the "and when" on I believe in a hill called Mt Calvary.
