Here is the website where I purchased parts:

$1000 for everything. $500 for the 250lb weight stack ($2 per pound), $250 for accessories including pulleys, $250 for metal (from the scrap yard).
You have made a fantastic machine and a very comprehensive yet easy to follow how-to video - best I have found on UA-cam! I love your relaxed approach and the paint job, too.
This is astonishing! This is the best diy gym equipment video on UA-cam because of all the explanation, easy to follow. Keep them coming!
I agree
thank you, I love you
Dude.
This video was truly what I needed to watch on my lunch break. It was so, chill and entertaining. Really, really, enjoyed how you broke it down and made it seem like I can build this! Also love that your video is long. So many other youtubers are going to this 5 mins or less crap. You just can't tell the story in that amount of time. Good job 👏 👍
Thanks man glad I could help! I got some other vids coming out soon like a leg extension and an adjustable bench
amazing work. you are maybe the only one to explain how to make an adjustable pulley system. thank you
Great .... thank you partner .... you have been a great inspiration ... it is what I was looking for .... blessings.
My prediction: this channel is going to blow up! Very cool!
i wish man! idk if there is a market for this kind of specific video. Thanks for your comments though! keep on doing what you're doing
Wow. So neat and pretty. Works great, apparently. Bravo.
Yesss it’s a great build! Waiting for more diy building videos! Subscribed !
Nice project, thanks for sharing.
You did a really good job. Congrats 👏
This is fantastic.

Cant believe this is your first one, nice job!
Be sure to do vids for other builds you make. Nice work!
I’ve got a lat pull down/low row machine coming up soon!
@@solomonmachine2137 Thanks for the headsup, i'm already subbed and got that bell noti set ;p
@@solomonmachine2137 If you could combine them that would be incredible. Make it 1:1 for the fixed high and low pulley for pulldown/row and then 2:1 for the adjustable pulley. Is that possible?
Amazing work man! Keep it up. I look forward to seeing what projects you fabricate in the future!
Dude that build is so good you'd think it was a commercially available piece of equipment from established manufacturers rather than a DIY project. Huge respect.
thank you brother more coming soon
@@solomonmachine2137 looking forward to it. If I had access to metal working tools/machinery I'd seriously have a go myself but sadly I don't 😥
Great job Bro...👍
Love man. If I had a budget I would try and build one but I just said screw it and bought one for $4000 😂. Didn't use a gym membership for 4 years so I guess it paid itself off already 👍
Solid Build, nice job man. thanks for the plans
I wanted to build one of these but couldn't sort out building the "user interface" parts. Great video
hardest and most important part for sure!
this is so cool
Very nice brother
Can somebody explain in adjustment pulley why rope is not fully tighted or loose rope is always in balance not tight nor loose what is that machenisam
soak that plate in evaporust... it will look like a new piece of stock. Or you could just bead blast it once you're done with it...
THANKS 👍 I WILL DO THE SAME
Great job sir
Great build! And thanks for the drawing, can't wait to build one myself
I thought the same thing with the drawing. From his hand to paper. Then paper to design on software.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account??
I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Devin Amari instablaster =)
@Cesar Yehuda I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Cesar Yehuda It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account !
I say make another and put them like 10 feet apart like in tbe gyms so you can do dual chest Flys high medium and low
Bro where did you buy the height adjuster where the handles attach to from? I’m desperately looking for a pair
Fantastic !!!!
Did he say what he spent once he finished? I heard the metal price but that was it?
Hell of a first build, great instructional detail. Look forward to more 👍
Thank you for the kind words.
good afternoon!
Please, I want to know if the metalon you used in this project was 50x50? or is it 20 x 20?
Because of your very cool video, I now understand the adjustable pulley system. Thank you so much.
Hey,
Did you use these shaft collars on the lower ends of the guide rods as well?
Regards
Great job. Maybe not a masterpiece of craftsmanship in terms of detail lol, but you successfully built what you wanted with not much experience. It functions exactly as intended, well done!
I may have missed it somewhere in there, but what was the total build cost?
Adjustable bench and reverse hypers would interest alot of home gym owner! Liked and subscribed good stuff brother
Hey man, just wanted to let you know you that you accidentally doxxed yourself. When you showed the boxes that the weights came in, it says your name and address
Hi, I've been designing, fabricating and welding stuff like this for well over 20 years, including my own crossover cable machine, and I'd be impressed if I'd built what you've just done on your first go, so very well done. Do the weight stack weights have any kind of bearing in them against the guide rods, or is it just an air gap? SIimon
if you set the stack at 40 it feels like 20lb at the handle.. no it doesnt feel like 20 it actually is 20 at the handle. Also, the missing energy you speak of , as you said, results in twice the range of motion of the travel of the load up and down the guide rods but the reason there is less energy required to move the weight is because half of the weight is being supported by the other end of the cable which is fixed to the adjuster. Your video is awesome and I havent seen anyone else on youtube just hauling off and fabricating an adjustable pulley system. Great spirit man and your machine is flawless. Impressive.
Great video mate! I know from it being your first video its alot to remember to film everything.. its a pain but it comes more natural over time! If you can come over to the UK build me an Sorinex apex rack that would be great :) haha
greetings from Colombia, very good video and the machine too, friend just a small detail, can you give the detailed measurements please,
Hey man that build is awesome. I'm trying to find the Guide Rods you are using, looked through amazon for a while and couldn't find the length you've stated. Could you please list the link if possible. I have Rogue uprights and would like to utilize them for the build but the only issue is I'm unable to find the guide rods that would fit. Thanks
yeah it is hard to find good guide rods. My great idea was to use closet rods, the chrome pipe that holds the hangers. However you literally cant find them online in the 1" diameter. The best ones I could find were unpolished, free shipping on amazon:
www.amazon.com/Unpolished-1008-1010-Diameter-Thickness-0-8700/dp/B003TPMM8G?pd_rd_w=jm2NL&pf_rd_p=0d55604f-77be-4514-b038-26b5285c5695&pf_rd_r=VN634VSAYT4WM3D699J7&pd_rd_r=98ad28af-fecb-4e91-a1bd-97ae4e2a96b7&pd_rd_wg=BONhA&pd_rd_i=B003TPMM8G&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_c_2_18_t
f yeah dude this is what im talkin about
What about smith machine?
you look very happy using the machine hope you build a whole homegym equipment and be buff i enjoy watching this brother👌
Great work Mr Moss! I share your sense of accomplishment 😁 highly functional machine you've built here. I actually wanted to do the same at one point and had produced very similar drawings but at the time struggled to find the "user interface" piece and how exactly to devise the weight stack. Nor did I have to option weld. Anyway this video should help many others, congratulations! Now just to repeat the process for cable crossovers 😜.
maybe ill do crossovers someday in the future!
my diarrhea farts stink
The final product is very nice! It is also very well explained! I browsed several other videos of DIY cable machine and no video is well detailed like this one. Can't wait to see your next projects!
congratulations beautiful .. you can have the measures, there are no measures in the drawing, thanks a lot........you have other ideas being very good
Muchas gracias llevo tiempo buscando un video asi de bien explicado y con planos y medidas gracias y exito
This si wonderfull but the way I don't speak English very well but i like yours yob fantastic
how much did you spend for it
Good video!!! Can I ask how much was the weights? where did you order them from?
its in the description. $2 per pound
Do you sell the plans with all measurements and parts especifics?
theres a link in the description to the plans!
@@solomonmachine2137 for sure but there is no measurements and size of the pieces :/ sorry for my bad english
@@forrestquerino6230 zoom in, its very small
@@solomonmachine2137 ohh now I see it. Thank you! Reallyyy small 😂😂
🔥🔥🔥
Hi, what is the size of perforated stainless tubular that you used for the adjustable pulley?
5:27 how did you made this give us a video of showing each part of this bracket
Hej , im Giovanni ( Italian ) Lavish , whats the sizes of the dobble pulley you made on that machine here ? Please can you not make a video with sizes of your machine ! That wil be nice , 😁, now i like to make your machine here in the Philippines , i hope to hear from you Thanks and have a nice day buddy 🙂
hello, there are plans in the description with all the measurements. You just have to zoom really far in, im not quite sure why it exported it that way haha. If you really do build it send me a picture of it! that would be cool
i have question about friction force 2 colume what the desing no friction force
Really Nice and professionel made
Mine didn’t turn out as nice but functions well lol
Keep the voice over lose the music. Had to mute it, music is irritating.
Can you show the adjustable handle dimension?
Now its $1000 for the 250lb weight stack 🥲
Great job
This is inspiring for sure! I may build this exact system x2. It would have one on the left and one to the right (for 500lbs). My thought is to try to create a homemade version of the TYTAX T3-X ($11,000) gym. To pull that off, you would technically need 7 stations, but if you keep adding as you go, it could be possible. The thing has 470 exercises lol.
I can get alot out of 2 pulleys, to start. It will get more interesting as it goes. If they actually have schematics, it will make duplication much easier! The goal is to maximize efficiency; into one large block.
It would be nice to see what came out of your plan.
Great machine, seems too light for you though
Awesome build! Very impressive, enjoy!!
Very nice!
I was ramping up to build something like this. Had the design complete and was pricing materials out. Just the weight stack was well over $500.
I looked on Facebook marketplace to find a donor weight stack, and found an entire complete machine for $200. So, I went with that.
Thank you very much for this, great Work 👌💪
What about Justin Herbert???????
YOU KNOW!!!
@@solomonmachine2137 ROTY
Hoping he takes us to the promise land🙏
Aslo Dan Fouts was Duck 👍
HI, why there are no dimensions in the project?
Nice vid! Do you have a link to the weight stack and the circle guide rod holders?
www.exercise-equipment-parts.com/weght-stack-parts.html
the stack is $2.00 a pound. so pretty pricey. im working on building a trolley system that holds weight which will be way cheaper... so maybe stay tuned for that
For the price this one is by far better than rogue machine
Looks good but how much was the total cost to build?
Awesome build well done!
I always wondered what the stacks from that website would be like...
Actually very nice. They’ve gone up in price quite a bit since I bought mine. But steel, 6 machined surfaces, beveled edges throughout, and a nice powder coat. You couldn’t make a better stack unless it was chromed out or something
Nice. I want ro build my own stuff too
I lovee the video bro!! !nice machine!!+
Not sure if you can slip this in now, but some UHMW tape on the inside of that “user interface” would eliminate the little bit of slop and metal-on-metal wear and tear.
dude great idea! i totally could. thank you
@@solomonmachine2137 I’d be interested to see how you go about building a belt squat setup if you go that direction with your cables. I’m currently trying to figure that out within my own rack by adding a low pulley and extra cable to my existing DIY lat pulldown.
The machine you've made is beautiful.
Also, you look like a medieval European peasant from Mount and Blade. You're also beautiful, nohomo.
Very impressive, especially for a first fab project.
How did you know how long to make the cable? Did you start with the handle at the bottom and just run your cable accordingly?
i got a little extra. I remember i got 40ft and had plenty extra. And i just calculated how long it would be compared to the machine.
@@solomonmachine2137 gotcha, im thinking about incorporating something like this but to my power rack. I need to figure out how i could attach the cable to the back of the handle to complete the cable circuit. Im not a welder so its going to be tough lol
I really liked it. I hope to see more. I'm thinking of building one, but it would be double I believe.
Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
Very nice bro may I know price pls.
Can you purchase the front sliding mechanism with 2 pulleys (from which the cable comes out)
If the weight is half on adjustable machines due to mechanical advantage are they labeled differently to make up for this?
no they are not labelled differently. try doing tricep extensions on the adjustable cable machine at 100lbs and then try the same thing on a lat pulldown, at 100lbs. the lat pulldown should be exactly 2x heavier because youll be moving the stack exactly 2x further every rep
@@solomonmachine2137 always noticed the stand alone pull down machine at my gym was more difficult, I always thought it was stabilization, this is new to me. Will make sure to only use the stand alone from now on. Thank you for video!
can you makie a pec dec fly machine
Just watched the wooden one he made also just before and now I’m watching this one and it clear to me now he makes em cos he likes to and he sells em for more than the cost of the make with all em ❤.
Very nice build! Do you know how much support/weight the guide rods actually need to handle with this? I am trying to fashion something similar (but plate loaded) inside my existing power rack and I was thinking about using 1 or 2 steel pipes for the guide rod(s). Thanks!
Good job
Well done bro..
@Lavish Moss If you had to replace retaining lug, what would you use ? a simple but a strong weld-on hook ? and How did you arrange the length of cable ?
I’ve been trying to figure out how these work to make for my home gym, this video is perfect
Bro, you need to be in business
Bro absolutely an amazing job!!👍wicked nice
What type of welder do I need, do you know if there is some no gas required type that is as good as what you use?
Also, would love to see how you would go at building a full squat rack with the adjustable cables incorporated!
Hey, what type of welder and welding style is best for gym equipment ?
Incredible work. Is there anyway that I could get the sketch up file that you made?
holy shit! impressive!
