Good job Mathew Bushby and all the team at ALSTOM! The facility has come a long way since 2021 thanks to everyone's hard efforts and time taken to get production to where it is today.
The new trains look good. We have visited perth over the last 20 years and always liked the previous trains whilst going to mandurah Rockingham and up to butler. We look forward to escaping the UK in November for a month and ride the new ones.
There will be a raffle ticket and selected people will get to go on the train on the 7th of April I’m pretty sure, but the train will be doing normal services along the Joondalup and Mandurah line the next day.
You’ll have to catch a train on the Mandurah Joondalup line or a Perth to Perth Stadium express because they’re the only ones where all platforms are long enough for 6 cars and can really do with the horsepower of the new C series
I had one experience on this new design so far and felt very uncomfortable as I sat in the 2 seater as I would normally do but now there is other passengers staring straight at me and also felt a bit more cramped between the seating but the higher head rest was good. They should just have the 2 seaters as originally designed with the isle between Throughout the whole train still with the priority seating and have a separate carriage for people with bikes and the annoying e.scooters that get in the way!
Seemsa one sided commentary. Doesn’t the B~Series have cab door? Is the windscreen bigger? The existing fleet have cab windows. The train looks a step backwards in exterior design when compared to existing fleet. No mention of DSAPT compliance. The interior look cheap not the finish of existing fleet.
Three complaints. 1) suspension is too stiff ride much rougher than b series, 2) acceleration profile is too jerky - need "s curve" velocity profiles so both acceleration and jerk are smooth continuous functions. 3) seat pitch in direction of travel is too close for tall people and seat width is too narrow. First trip on a C series left me nauseous

As a brit, and from all of my honesty, the design of these trains is truly amazing, both on the exterior and the interior.
I was one of the people on the april 7th service, the first one, let me just say, the train is incredible
Great that they are made here, you can hear the pride in his voice.
Well done WA!

Finally ready
That's interesting.
I ❤ trains, trams, take a ride, I have a folder on ''transportation''
(folder 2, in playlists) you will love them too :)
Great work guys. Love that they are made here in WA.
Hopefully soon rail cars for the new Australind train to Bunbury will start
Such a good idea to have mixed seating! So you don’t have to avoid making eye contact with people opposite
yay
I’m happy with my lego C series train 🚊 😊
Bro keeps telling this to everyone
@@Trainaddiction512 …and?
@@RingLordSonicSo first of all, it's obvious everyone sees you as a flaunt, second all those demonstrate you being so bothersome.
@@RingLordSonicIt shows how annoying you are and how you are baiting people to watch your videos.
You keep saying that because all those demonstrate you being view hungry
SO EXITED!!!!
I’m so proud of all of your hard work for building this new C-Series! Congratulations! And I wonder which depot did it come out of?
When will they start actual service?

I heard april 4th
April 8 regular service, April 7 for a special service
@@MrMan-np9jg it will be in service 8 of April but the winner of the competition will be on the 7 of April
finally... happy for c series rip a series
I'm 190 cm / 6"3. The room leg is significantly smaller. I can't sit as comfortably as on the previous trains. I can barely squeeze in.
finally. hopefully i see it in april
Finally rose in it
YES!! LES GOO!!! THORNLIE WILL GET THE B-SERIES!!!!!!!!!
In 2029
Can’t wait for the 8th of April and also hope I win the raffle my heart is pounding
Ahh! That new train smell!
Oh wow, is the facility Duel gauge?
Should include the stitched on 'Priority" seat sign. That's the problem in the Melbourne system! People just think it's a different colour seat
Is the C series running on the Mandurah line now?
Ayyyy! There's the bogies from Hofmann engineering. Where can I ride one of these? I never see one in midland line.

Yay
I hope you can change the USB-A ports to USB-C!
you better buy an adapter.
" and bits and pieces like that "
Why are they diesel-powered? I thought these trains would be replacing those on the Joondalup and Mandurah lines initially 🤔
They're 246ish electric for city routes, then a couple different ones that are for non-city routes
@@sbm1978 ahhh so that's what he meant. Thanks for the clarification, mate!
Those DMUs are about to replace the old Australind trains
@@chiheichan4515 Makes sense, thanks!

USB-A or USB-C outlets?
Pretty sure USB-A
@@alex_111. Figures, as everything is now moving to USB-C 😞
Yes hopefully I can go if I win the raffle and I’m going on the 8th!
Why are the plugs not USB-C? We are all gonna need a carry converters.
Hype train is leaving the station
Yipee!
I really dont like the new chair design. Its quite tall and there is less leg space. Dont get me wrong though I like the rest of the train!
Metronet x Train sim world 4?
?
Go back to the B series and only give it more USB ports and more horsepower like the C series
