The Wallace Collection are exquisite paintings!! So beautiful - all of them. And the frames are so grand and spectacular and are art pieces to enjoy as well. What a beautiful house! I would love to visit this grand place. The antique articles, furniture, and vases are something to see. I also loved that chandelier. Beautiful. And smart to have a cafe! I enjoyed seeing London's secret!!
A hidden Gem! I know people in London who know nothing about this Place! Had the chance to visit on 2 occasions from Canada! Beautiful Building! Paintings are incredible!
What an amazing collection of pictures. To see them in real life must be wonderful. There was also some beautiful furniture. I loved the daisy jug. The Italian plates and dishes were really pretty. The armor was impressive. The work that goes into them is really something. I would like to visit here.
Shame you missed the Laughing Cavalier but that means you’ll have to go back there. You will see so many delights that you missed the first time. Last time I was in London I was staying about 20 minutes’ walk away in Mount St, so it was at the top of my list of places to visit.
Totally, looking forward to going back and seeing what I missed! Thats was close to it and a nice easy walk there. Thanks so much for watching and commenting :)
I visited the Wallace Collection in 2019 when, apart from the usual exhibits, they had a fabulous display of Manolo Blahnik shoes. I love that it is an old mansion and you move from room to room - all that and it costs nothing! Fabulous!
We were there exactly one year ago. Prior to our trip I was researching attractions and stumbled across The Wallace. It is an amazing museum and I have been blessed to visit many of the world's best in the US and western Europe.
3:04-3:05 - The *quality, depth, and glow to that BLUE on that mini regal chair - yikes! (Do we see that tone of blue on the streets today?! No sir.) The Wallace Collection: stalwart oasis of formal craft and sentiment. Thanks London Visited.
The majority of tourists to London stay only for a few days so the Wallace Collection wouldn’t be on their must-see list. That’s good news for Londoners because it doesn’t get overwhelmed by crowds. A real favourite of mine and another advantage is the location in an overall non touristy area of central London.
I love the Wallace. I've visited them on each trip to London and it's a hidden gem for sure.

This is far better than the French hidden gem. A large and various of collection paintings.
This is the equivalent of Louvres Museum
You are so right and thanks for watching and commenting, really appreciated 👍😀
This one of the must see places. Beautiful collection and nice that every room has different colours on Wall. Very good tip Steve, thank you.
When I was a student I would stop there on my way home.... Wonderful collection !!!

Yes the detail of the diasy jug is incredible, thanks Lesley :)
Book an afternoon tea here! Such a charming location and a wonderful art collection.
A great idea as the cafe looks so lovely 👍😀
I used to live in 'Woodlands' Overthorpe near the Oxfordshire border & remember meeting the armour expert of the Wallace Collection there.
That armour collection is vast, what a great job to have! Thanks so much for sharing :)
Thanks for Sharing!!!
Thank you very much. I will definitely visit next time I’m in London.

So pleased you loved it there, such a fantastic place to go to 👍😀
Coming to London in March. Will definitely visit this building. Thank you.
Thank you for the recommendation and the informative video, will definitely visit
It is so lovely and relaxed in there, enjoy when you do :)
Love the Wallace!!! I wanna go back!
A wonderful place :)
@@LondonVisited Rococo wonderland. I could've stared at the swing painting all day.
I worked there for 10 years.
Must have been a great place to work :)
On the whole it was apart from petty politics. It is a wonderful collection and their Dutch collection is second to nun.

Thanks so much Karen 👍😀
oh I am so sorry you are telling! It has been wonderful as a secret. Oh dear! Will it be swamped now?
Thanks so much for watching and commenting and I am sure that it will still be our secret! Love it there :)
No it won’t get swamped with tourists because it’s not on the “essential’ sights list 😁

Love the area around there :)
@@LondonVisited Yes Marylebone is great close to tacky Oxford Street but a world away in feel and beauty.
I'm sure their PR team will be thrilled by the description 😂

Είναι θαυμαστό να τα βλέπεις όλα αυτά να κρέμονται, ευχαριστώ πολύ για την παρακολούθηση και το σχόλιο
Your camera work, constantly moving, zooming in and out, panning, missing the focus and pulling back, is making me seasick. I had to stop watching.
Thanks for watching and your feedback - Kwells are great to help and suggest watching on dry land :)
