    So funny the kids. I am sure that hole looked huge back in the day. Amazing all the hard work that was done back in the day. Still a fun adventure. I would of gone in. I had no idea about this and how they figured it out to get the gold. Thanks for showing us.

      The kids sure had a blast. They would have just stayed and walked back and forth through the tunnel all afternoon if we'd let them 😆
      Definitely a really neat trail with some interesting history! We're glad we found the short path to get there though!

    Me being in the tunnel does not bother me at all. What would bother me is what else is in the tunnel with me. Sending the kids in first is a good strategy.

      We definitely looked in before sending the kids! Oddly enough, there was nothing in there at all. We didn't even see any bugs.
