Also to the left there are several other blm land camping spots on the road to the Soap Creek dispersed area before you get to Soap Creek. They don't have the gate you have to open like at SC, you just pull in. It's also important to note that there is NO DIESEL fuel at those 2 gas stations on 89A past less ferry, etc. You'll need to gas up in Page or before you get to 89A if you have a diesel.

BTW, that's no longer the swim beach. It's closed off. The moved the swim beach over to the right of that area so don't have to walk 10 miles to get to the water. That old swim beach area is a second marina basically...

My family owns a cabin right there on the Tahquamenon river right by Murphey creek which is between the upper and the lower falls. Its been a while sine weve been up, with life keeping everyone so busy of course. Every now and then we will make the long boat ride and walk to go see the upper falls. We dock our boat on the other side of where the lookout is there and we are able to (very carefully and not advised for the timid because it can be dangerous) but we follow the little rock edge and actually are able to go under the falls a little ways. Its an experience you will never forget thats for sure. I grew up going up there since i was a kid and now im in my 40s so ive done it quite a few times but it is a heck of a trek so the only time we really make the trip is if we bring someone new up to the cabin, because if you haven't experienced it, its a very exciting experience you'll remember for the rest of your life. So at 3:03, that cover you took off the blower wheel. Do you know anywhere possible to find or buy that? My trailer had mishap recently and that cover is now gone but I can’t find a single place that sells it or listed.

Love that you put the safety of your kids first. I struggle with that sometimes when I have to stop a trip shorter than planned, or change of plan because of whatever reason related to the kids. But as parents it's our responsibility to keep them safe and we know their limits the best. Glad you guys still had fun throughout the whole trip. Thanks for the video.

In my lifetime, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has been inundated by numerous hurricanes. The two super storms were Camille and Katrina. After the later, the stretch from Bat St. Louis east to Pascagoula along US 90 has basically been transformed into one continouous urban strand. After I-10 was built, these areas became speed by zones much like many peole consider mid-America to be fly over zones. If you area going to travel across southern Mississippi, slow down and get off the interstate.

I was just there May 2023. That hike was no joke. Mainly because of the elevations. But I had a blast running around the North Rim. I think the North Rim is better than the South Rim and West Rim.

Me, my wife, and two of my sisters were in Frankenmuth June 30th to July 3rd this year. We want to go back in the near future. One of my main reasons for going to Frankenmuth was to visit Bavarian Blacksmith Experience where I forged for the first time a railspike knife. BBE was founded by a Forged in Fire champion; if you've ever seen the show. His name is Josh A. Weston. Of course, we visited a lot of the shops. We stayed at Drury Inn and Suites. About two days after returing home from Frankenmuth, I started feeling homesick for Frankenmuth. That might seem silly to some though. Thank you for your video.

I see you have the same flexible solar panels, and I see you have the same chalking or turning white problem I have. As long as they are still working although can't be real efficient.

Not sure if you guys will see this, but they are opening a new water park this year, it will be Michigan's largest indoor water park and one of the largest indoor water parks in the United States. Might be a fun trip for you and the kids. It's at the Bavarian in.

Watch out for the sidewalks in Ocean Springs. We were not always a casino destination. We were a shrimping/fishing community.
