Jenny and Screech entered the world on the same night... And left the world on the same night. It never fails to hit like a truck. Masterful.
Jenny was quite like her mother, Screech was crazy like thier father.
I'm a bit lost, can you please explain the plot? Who is Violet? I understand Screech killed Jenny and the cop killed Screech, but how is Violet connected to all these? She also died beaten by her boyfriend, so why only 2 dead people, and not 3?
@@RaduRadonys To simplify the story, it takes place in two different time periods. Jenny and Screech's stories happen and then Ren goes back in time to tell the story of another young woman who tragically dies in childbirth caused by "Stevey". The twins she gives birth to ARE Jenny and Screech, who are put into care in two separate families, neither of which can break the cycle of violence. Their paths cross at the ages of 14 leading to both of their deaths.
@@GregDaniel78 Thank you very much, it makes sense now, why he said in the end it's a tragedy or a miracle, "Two twins are lying side by side, a girl named Jenny and a boy named Screech" the twins were lying side by side at birth and at death... Thanks mate, such good storytelling!
@@rshinde6338 That hit me later the night after I first saw this. That repetition of the same tragedy across the generations... phew. Just when you think it couldn't have been more tragic.
I'm a musician, and I have a curse. I've listened to so much Ren recently that it plays full blast in my brain all the time. That's not a good state of affairs, but I do a good line in pretending to have perfect pitch because Rens songs are welded into my brain. Have mercy Ren, come up with something shit.
Good to see you guys appreciating Ren's genius. It is never possible to ever be ready for Ren.
And the first reaction video to pick up that Screech’s girlfriend was cheating on him (with Patrick!). 👏🏻
REN does most of his videos in one take, and they are all in his home city of Brighton in England.
You know what I love about Ren's music? It exposes the listeners' souls. I enjoy watching reaction vids as much as I enjoy the original track.
That's a great be way of putting it. I'd struggled to put it into words why I enjoy watching the reaction videos to his music as well, but you've summarized it perfectly. Cheers from the States!
This kid has become a bit of an obsession since I first heard a week or so back. I have been working my way through his stuff, He is an amazing talent. So while I might not be his target audience. My Kids, Grand Kids, and Great-Grand Kids, are hearing me blast it out incessantly. So some of them I am sure must fall into his target audience.
I honestly think, much like his music has no fixed genre his audience has no fixed age range. It seems everyone who takes the time to sit down and watch it loves it.
Great music is ageless and crosses genre preferences.
Me too Stephen. Im in deep.
I have been obsessed with Ren for five weeks now, lol. Check out “Ren’s “An English Man in New York”. It’s another unique piece with the band, The Big Push.
@@jennyhedges7426 im up to my neck but I still Don't want to be rescued.
Whats so amazing to me is that its often a one take, live performance with Ren and its just him with a guitar and he blows you away every time! I love his songs with Chinchilla How To Be Me and Chalk Outlines, also Power for some old school feelgood vibes!
Good old school talent. Hundreds of years ago singers couldn't do multiple takes, had to get performances right first time, and real talent is when you can do that without even thinking about it, it's a rare thing.
got to give some credit to whoever was behind the camera though too, they did a great job
Ren is phenomenal, the guitar playing is superb the story’s unpredictable and the guy just blows your mind every single time… super impressive stuff
Yes yes yes.....find your way thru Ren (if you can)...pick any genre,he's got it in his pocket 🎵🤯💯🔥♥️🇬🇧🙏
Too raw and too real for for the mainstream music world which doesnt know what it is missing.
Loved this one more than Hi Ren even though after reaction Hi Ren is now in regular rotation. This though, brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Genius storyteller ren
Great reaction, guys. Ren is a mindfuck. What’s amazing to me is to watch two men, listening to a riveting depiction of horrific domestic abuse and remains almost expressionless. Dude on left, neck tilt side to side , great way to release tension/stress. It strikes me because men are so conditioned by society to never be weak and showing emotion is considered weakness. The truth is, being vulnerable and expressing your emotions (in the right setting of course) is actually courage and is often the space where others feel validated by your expression of emotion. I could see it in your body tension and you both kept it under wraps with stone face. Just makes me think. 🤔
Ren is a modern-day Shakespeare, a warrior poet. A genre genius, guitar maestro, storyteller of epic proportions and an artist of the highest calibre. Love the reaction guys, if you want to see Ren showing off some technical rapping skills check 'The hunger' and if you want some sick beats try 'Sick boi'.
This guy is amazing! Love this. How have i not found a him before ?
@@mattsmith5267 I found him only a few days ago, and I've watched loads of reactions to his top tracks since then. The surprised and speechless reactors speak volumes about Ren's artistry. Forged in a fire of autoimmunity illness and psychosis he rose from the ashes like a phoenix from the flame. Credit where it's due the guy deserves a better life and freedom from illness for his contribution.
A minstrel or troubadour for the modern age. As he's Welsh I suppose that makes him a bard.
I’ve only been excited like this one other time before and that was the first time I heard Curt Cobain and Nirvana.
@@Len_M. Yes m8, I was the same, then again with RATM and again with Audioslave. He's definitely a one-off.
GO Maryland !!!! :D Seen the flag and hat. I live in MD myself. Lived in Frederick and Washington Country. I have watched this song on its own, then watched about every reaction video.. Spent literally days watching this
Maryland Is A Cult, Not A State
Well, it _is_ the best state flag, after all!
(Lived in MD for a decade, in Baltimore County, and now that I live abroad, MD is the state I vote in.)
Ren is a musical genius its like watching a play with every song, Daniel Ren is doing interviews with reaction channels that are interested in his music. Would be amazing if you guys could get an interview, hes often in the comments of the people who react to his videos thanking them
Ren is a modern bard ,he even played a bards tail on guitar at the start of violets tale in the gown 👍 keep doing what your doing bro's much ❤from the UK 😘👌❤✌️
He is like a medieval minstrel bought up to date. Masterpiece.
Guys check Ren out playing in the band the big push they play some fantastic covers live on the streets of Brighton in the UK
Yes please, more Ren, all of it is good from, Rap, busking on the street with The Big Push, to singing vids.
Love that you guys are reacting to Ren. He is frigging awesome. Much love fellas
Awesome reaction guys as usual, much love from 🇬🇧
Another wonderfully emotive song is his duet with Chinchilla called 'Chalk outlines'. For a palette cleanser and to see Ren at being fun, check out 'what you want' (a Beastie Boys homage) and 'Power' about his upbringing (he's being driven around by his producer and Brother in the car in Brighton).
I think his most talented upbeat tune is a 2 minute rap song called 'The Hunger'. You.will.not.believe.his.talent.
Your faces ! Priceless. Check out Ren's band 'The Big Push' they do an excellent cover of Stings 'Englishman in New York' worth a look.
Ren wouldn't need to hire a street, there are streets and alleys like that all over Brighton, in some back streets the graffitti attracts photographers etc. These were probably filmed late at night with no one around, although if you lived there and heard that Screetch shouting section before he ran at the policeman you might wonder what was going on!
Great reaction guys. Just to note, Violet's Tale was written/released over 2 years after Jenny and Screech's Tales! 🏴
Haha my guy Spencer looked ready to mess Stevie up. Great reaction guys
Pleased you guys got round to another REN. He's an absolute genius. Please do more haha. He has to be the most diverse, exciting talent in the world right now
48 year old Brit, born and bred, who has just been introduced to one of the brightest new talents in the world, by Americans. Appreciated gents. I write a few word patterns from time to time. Would love to open for this lad.
I'd definitely check out his busking performances with The Big Push too - they do really good covers plus their own material and there's another great vocalist and guitarist - they are so in synch it's amazing. His vocals on War Pigs are powerful and quite different to what you've seen before... Also his collaborations with Chinchilla are definitely worth checking out for their soulfulness (is that even a word lol?!) Like other people have said, his versatility is quite astounding!
This is remarkable.
First I've heard of him. Sensational.
Yay guys more Ren, you need to do a deep dive into all his music, a really talented guy and so entertaining
He tells the stories and the filming of the stories are all done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every town, city, and country at this very moment and the cycle continues
Wow didn't think you'd ever do this one ! Thanks 🇬🇧
I love the fact that you were dying to keep pausing - that's your instinct, which is fair enough - but you couldn't because this is so compelling.
Love the dude in purple keeps cracking his neck!! ❤️
I do too listening to this song!!
Protection mode activated 👍
Great honest reaction as ever. To get a full picture of how great Ren is checkout The hunger. Ren just so damn versatile
Found Ren last night. mind blown. Its like finding one of the greats.
Definitely agree it's performance art, not just a singer singing. xx
Ren has today updated on his latest surgery. He's in pain. May I recommend Chalk Outline as your next Ren, then Bittersweet Symphony and his street performances in the band The Big Push. You'll get a sense of his genius.
Let's hope he comes through his trials and gets healthy soon, so we can give him the acclaim he deserves.
Great reaction to Ren and look forward to more from Ren thanks fellas.
You guys have to react to chalk outlines next
Thay are some heavy words . Great poet 👏
You guys gotta check out The Hunger by Ren
You need to check out Rens band The Big Push and their latest video on Brighton Beach Busking channel his home town and watch Roadhouse Blues. It's amazing and Ren doesn't take centre stage but the band are absolutely unreal, no corporate gimmicks or flashy American crap just amazing music with imperfections galore and it's stunning!!!!!!
This is so good right. I'm down a Ren rabbit hole at the moment and can't get enough of his Bittersweet Symphony retake. Would really like to see you check it out 🤙
You need to listen to Violets Tale the 3rd part of the story....amazing!
I found Jenny's Tale in 2019 and I've been a Ren Stan ever since, do a deep dive you guys because I love your reactions (know you through your comedy reactions)!
Some of my personal favourites include Blind Eyed (live) busking in the streets of Brighton with Sam Tompkins, Insomnia, The Hunger, Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla, etc.
Need to try jamie t , his early stuff best like Shiela, Ren definitely got some of his style from Jamie T.
love the realisation at the end ahaha. great reaction lads
You guys should do Noel Gs Easy Now its his best single in years.
Check out the band ren is in (the big push) wade in the water,
Praise you live acoustic version and sweet little lady live acoustic ❤
How have I never heard of this guy? 😳 Woah! I definitely get the modern day wandering minstrel vibe but very very dark
Hes a genius and a total breath of fresh air ,with the.garbage the record industry is plying us with, please do a reaction to rens dear God , I think you'll enjoy that one to , stay blessed guys
"This is not the sort of shit you want to hear at night." hahaha
Your reactions were so app. Thanks
Definitely can’t put Ren a box! From What you want, power, ocean and the knowledge in the money games are impressive. I have not heard any Ren I haven’t loved.
Great reaction as usual guys. Looking forward to you finding his band The Big Push.
Power , hunger and Genesis their short 3 minutes long youll love these 3
You should listen to his band Big push do "I shot the sheriff-Road to Zion- Hip hop" in the streets of brighton live busking. You are entering the twilight zone that is the rabbit hole of REN👀
I thought you 2 looked tired good reaction lads.
Love the channel lads. Been watching for a good while. Glad you found Ren. He has tons more stuff to check out. Sick boi and The Hunger and what you want are a good start 😁😁😁ooh and Losing It might be my favourite.
This young man is phenomenal
So pleased you got around to this stunning piece 😍 I'm hooked on Ren and this does me every time. Goose pimples upon Goose pimples 🥰 can only react one way, completely lost in Ren's story 😊 feels like a modern day bard/troubadour 🤩 luckily first time I watched it was earlier in the day, ended up on a loop 😀
❤️❤️❤️
Love all Ren's stuff, his retakes of classics r fantastic, tbh all his stuff is great. I'm well down the rabbit hole
He is also a genius on piano.
Great reaction, Spencer and Daniel! It's fun how I have been following you guys for quite a looong time, and you seem to enjoy/react so many things I loved (Arctic Monkeys etc.), for years. I jumped on the Ren Train a few weeks ago (of course, Hi Ren), and now I get to see Ren videos with you two sweetheart buddies! Let's have you react to his bar heavy stuff, like "The Hunger", or "Losing it".
However, if ANY American reactors can appreciate "Bittersweet Symphony" or "Righ here right now", it's you two. You seem to have a soft spot for the soul of Britain. These two tracks are a great insight into the life of a British lad.
I love when the ending hits! Thanks for letting the videos play. That was a great reaction!
Loved the reaction and as a Terp. Love the flag and hat!
Wow Ren is hard hitting, I’m going to deliberately refrain from looking his stuff out and watch along with you guys so you better not take to long to get too another one. That was like you said performance art and great story telling all rolled into something magically real wow.
Love the Warren G sound he makes.
Knock knock on the storage unit at the end would have been funny as fk
Ren. Genius. Simples.
Patrick didn´t open the door for the same reason Screech´s girlfriend is "busy"...
I'm glad your doing this one boys ! X
I'm a big David Goggins fan. Subscribing for channel name, but also awesome content. Cheers!
Hey guys, I'm really looking forward to your reaction on this one!
This is what happens somebody says what's that noise did you hear something then someone says that's just Ren making another video😁
Your appreciation is my fulfilment, great reaction and thank you❤
You need to listen to Violet's tale as a follow up to this.
They do, starting at 9:27 ❤
he never spent more than 1k on a video before money game pt 3
it helps he's got a rediculously talanted buddy doing cinematography / directing
His live cover I shot the sheriff is really good. It's with his band he was in, the big push.
Listen to his drink driving song
Great reaction guy’s 😊 I have lost count of how many reactions I have watched of this but you are the first reactor’s to catch that Patrick was with Screehes girlfriend 😊
There’s an Easter egg at the end of screech tale when it says “ our story it ends right at the start, Screech and poor jenny laying one street apart” ❤
Ren - The Hunger!!!!!
Ren is a Bard, a lost art that needed more now then ever.
Brilliant storytelling and great reaction!
watch his band 'the big push'
You must check out Losing it by Ren, a totally other side! 😊
Check out ‘what went wrong’ parts 1 and 2 I think you’ll like those you looked a bit bored through these tales maybes coz you’re tired 🤷🏻♂️ look up war pigs aswell that will wake ya up
The cycle of violence
I’m new here and wanted to thank you for not pausing these 3 songs all the time. I’ve watched a couple of reactions to these songs and they paused so much it completely chopped up the momentum this artist’s flow which really detracts from his storytelling. I appreciate it so much. I don’t watch a lot of reaction channels because I don’t like it when they pause the music too much. Thanks!
Shared to fb
Someone made the observation -Jenny froze like her mother Violet, and Screech was violent like his father...history repeats:(
Lol,,she was with Patrick😂
21st century Shakespeare or maybe Chaucer. Either way his art is on a similar level.
You have to check out the WhatsApp you, Power and Bitter Sweet Symphony to see just how divers Ren is, he is amazing.
