- In this video I build a display to store my cheap but sturdy watches. I've seen wooden box joint hinges a few times in passing on instagram and figured I would try to incorporate them into a kinetic door design of some sort. Learned alot, messed up alot, but in the end pleased with the outcome. Subscribe and leave a comment if you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching, appreciate you!
Special Thanks to:

I love how you clean up after each process. Tidy craftsmanship at its best. Stunning piece of cabinet making by someone who loves their craft.
Appreciate it, tidiness is just part of the process when you have ocd haha. Thanks for the kindness!
Absolutely beautiful! So much character, of course am on with the wooden hinges and the ability to pull out the drawer and especially those adorable watch holders… I love that system of sliding in or out and how the joinery all tie together! Worth the wait 🤘🏼
Thanks mam, your comment on the bi-fold video about box joint hinges got the ideas flowing for this one. Appreciate yuh as always!
This is incredible. The level of detail, care and craftsmanship is unmatched. Well done.
Absolutely stunning as always it turned out amazing and looks beautiful. I agree with the other comments about voiceover and explanation on how you’re doing things. But I actually do just love watching your videos with no voice and just watching you work. It’s just so peaceful and relaxing. Keep up the amazing work. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Thanks Jim, I may do 2 versions of every video at some point, one with commentary and one like this. Appreciate yuh!
Получился очень крутой ящичек для любимых и дорогих часов ⌚, мне очень понравился, а главное - из натурального дерева ценных пород. Спасибо 🙏 вам наиогромнейшее, за такие эксклюзивные вещи и ваши золотые руки! 🥰👍❤️
❤️
Each video your cinematography just gets better and better. Plus the added humor at the end makes it a lovely blend of craft all around. Kudos and v proud of ya!
Your pictures turned out great, thank you!!
Beautiful work and great video.
I like the effort you put into editing, it shows.
My friend collects watches and I should make him a box like this.

Awesome video and build
Thanks brotha, excited to see that giant spork 🍴
My man, taking the kinetic doors to a new level. Also glad to see you're still rockin' the Casio haha. The interlocking hingework on the doors is crazy and also I would think this opens much smoother turned 90 degrees compared to the other kinetic doors.
They do work alot smoother which I thought would be the opposite outcome honestly. Thanks for the kind words, appreciate yuh!
THIS may be my favorite so far. 😍🤎 What a dope concept!👏
I did find the saw to but i bit loud and annoying, but the rest if it was amazing. Definitely obe of my top 5 favorite wood working channels now.
Yeah I caught that after upload sadly, cant win em all. Appreciate the kind words ✊🏻
Awesome work, very cool design!
Thanks Josh ✊🏻
Gorgeous work!!!
I do wish the little circle handles you grab onto would be a lighter color so you complete the light / dark / light / dark pattern all the way up :D Other than that, PERFECT!!!
Appreciate it, means alot! I personally liked the idea of some solid steel hardware and these little knobs were perfect for the pinch technique I open these with.
@@Yarmles keep up the good work!
pretty cool project. I appreciate you show up your mistakes.
Wow that’s insane! Talk about a ton of design and thought process. Beautiful job.
Thank you, trying to keep things fresh!
Incredible work as always! This is my favorite channel on UA-cam right now and it’s inspiring watching you progress doing what you love. Proud of you dude!
Thanks for being here, appreciate it Cam!
I really like the humor at the end with the cheap watches😀
I predict great things for this channel. It's got so much going for it and I look forward to seeing it unfold and to watch what you make next. This is lovely. Thank you for taking the time to artistically show us your artistry. The layers of art are impressive. :)
Such an in depth comment, thank you for the kindness 🖤
Awesome video, and the "borrowing" part was hilarious
Pure craftsmanship. Kudos ❤
Thanks alot Sylvia, appreciate it!
@@Yarmles your are most welcome
That door is just so cool
Thanks Peter, appreciate it.
Outstanding! Thanks for sharing. GBU
Glad you enjoyed it!
Che spettacolo complimenti bravissimo
Thank you!
That's really marvelous!! Very well done 👌👍👍👌
Thank you ✊🏻
Es la cosa más hermosa y estúpida que he visto a la vez, increíble pero totalmente innecesaria más que para el que se entretiene haciéndola, mis felicitaciones maestro!
Hi, do you usually have plans for your builds?
I do not unfortunately, I don’t have the time yet, as the channel grows I may start!
Your content and cinematography are amazing. But add voice overs. Every successful woodworking channel is successful because they explain what they are doing. And the ideas behind it.
Thanks for the kind words! And I do know if I did voice over it would help alot with growth, but I enjoy the “no personality, just zone out and watch” vibe and that is why I started this channel. Something a little different. I do try and answer any questions here in the comments or through email to make up for that!
And the music is freaking horrible. However, your craftsmanship is outstanding
Keep doing you. You're perfect just the way you are. ❤
On the contrary, it is perfectly ok to just watch. No need to have someone telling us the obvious.
I don’t think you should add voice overs at all. I love it as it is!
That is one nice Rube Goldberg watch case. Well done!
Appreciate it, means alot, thank you!
Beautiful
Appreciate that!
wow what a gorgeous result 😎👍
Создателю изделия и фильма мое уважение 👍
It’s like Kiss the Girls/Bone Collector meets UA-cam woodworking. And I promise I mean that in the best way possible! Subscribed!
Idk what those are but from the sound of it I am on board, thanks for the sub!!
This is the first time I watched your station and your work is beautiful. I’ll have to go back and look at some of your past projects and I can’t wait to see what else you do in the future. I’d loved it.❤❤❤
Amazing I want one!
très très beau travail 👋👋👋
Ювелирная работа! 👍
Awesomeness on steroids
Another banger from Yarmles
Absoluely beautiful 😍😍
🙏🏼
Beautiful and classy!
Really cool!
Wow! That’s one nice future heirloom.
Magnifique
Whoa - VERY nice amigo.Somebody gave the advice to do voice over and somebody said something neg about the music... IMHO, that is very bad advice. You do you homie. It works.
Appreciate it Ken, I am definitely sticking with this format.
superb I wonder how difficult it would be to change the wrist watches for pocket watches
Lovely end result. How you got those cuts straight freehand on a bandsaw I've no idea!
Appreciate it!
I was really hoping for an old school calculator watch... When you make these kinetic doors is there a (somewhat) repeatable design process or is each one a unique design that you have to work through?
They don’t make those calculator watches like they used too. And the kinetic cabinet in the first video I made is repeatable. The integral hinges on this one were a challenge to figure out and it’s repeatable now that I know what mistakes to avoid. But I am done with Kinetic stuff personally after this one, onto new ideas ☝🏻
Класс!!!
For me these silent videos r more aesthetic and cool just add substitle
Hi
I didn't know it could be possible to use dados on bosch gts10xc
Would you have a link for the on you use (and for the insert plate) ?
Thanks a lot
I used a saw stop table saw in the video not a Bosch, not familiar with their products personally but there’s a ton of info out there on dado stack requirements. I believe it comes down to the amperage/horsepower and the saw having an arbor with enough room for the stack.
Open it one more time
Что за музыка 🎤🎼🎹🎶
Stimulating
Thanks Casey 🤝🏻
ПЕСНЯ
Sehr schöne Arbeit 👍
Was ich aber schade finde,
das Video ist viel zu dunkel man kann leider die Details sehr schlecht erkennen 😢
