    This is actually a pretty neat truck, especially when two manufacturers worked together to produce it! The new control console looks fancy, as well as the whole design of the body. I bet there'll be plenty of these on the streets soon.

    I just spotted a brand-new Full-Eject heading back to the yard here in San Jose!

    McNeilus worked with Pendpac to take the great concept of their arm - combined with a full-eject McNeilus body- to the next level. The combination of these two is very smooth, even with a route loaded with snow-coned cans. The follower is also very fast to prevent hopper bridging. All in all, a smooth and simple machine that mechanics and drivers will quickly fall in love with - Jeffry (McNeilus Marketing)

    Actually, ABQ did not. They got a few PendPacs; totally different than the ZR

    haha yea, i saw saw the curve shel and thought that for a second aswell, but the fact that there was a follower pannel made no sence to me, then i realized it is a standard ram style packer lol

    these are the exact same as PendPac arms, they just bought the design of them, and im pretty sure this truck has a typical ram style packer, not a pendelum. otherwise its basically a complete replica of an entire PendPac lol

    @jeffswert You should introduce this idea to the City of Chicago.

      Do you know if dumping process can be faster? We got 5 new trucks like this. All the same model but one of those dumps WAY faster

    Curotto-Can is better. It has an average dumping time of 4.09 seconds. this truck can't beat that.

      SoxFan1519 Currotto Cam is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen, your double handling the material. Emptying it into the stupid can and the. When the can is full you have to stop and dump the can into the truck, that takes significant time. True side loaders pack the material straight away and are only handling the garbage once. We have some side loaders in Australia that are pushing 3 second arm cycle times (1.5 sec to lift and lower), yes that is lifting and lowering, those trucks have the hydraulic pressures custom set, no Currotto Can can ever match that.

      Those damn amreps break the bins because the grabber swings away from the hopper too fast, and too much for the can to handle

    These trucks are better than the Heil rapid rails we currently have. I HATE those Heil with there stupid ass design of a paddle blade. I can only pack 8 tons of green waste in 3.5 hours. And god forbid something gets jammed in the hopper. And no I don’t rise the body and put in reverse and then slam on the brakes. Like the rest of the other guys.

    ZR hands down best ASL ever designed

  • @Trashman702
    @Trashman702 11 років тому

    Now how is a rear loader with a dual tipper more efficient than an ASL when you have to get our of the cab at every stop which provides opportunities for injuries? Screw that! ASL all the way
