I mean I spent like 20 straight minutes thinking of all of that just because OP made a typo and clearly already knows how to spell the word, that old mnemonic just popped into my head and triggered the absolute shizz out of me. I hope that saying has died out...
@@realityshotgun I honestly have no idea when I learned it. Kinda like how so many people instinctively know the lyrics to "Take Me Out To The Ball Game", but absolutely don't know how.
Leave it to Clint to identify the company that made an oddware by the smell of the plastic. Amazing
When i first saw the boss mouse was a yellow SD-1, i really wish it was a orange DS-1. But spewed coffee when I saw they actually did release a DS-1 variant. Now we just need a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 haha. Happy new year.
I grew up with the jumpstart series and jumpstart 4th grade the original haunted isle is so nostalgic for me. Loved playing it as a kid.
Thanks for this fun video.
There is so much variance in things like this that I really appreciate finding out about them.
I am in awe with all the old video game stuff you have. I am a kid and have a small video game collection of nes, snes, genesis, and pc games. I wish I had the money to own all this stuff. 🤣
Nothing to do with the mice, but I find the idea of Star Trek deathmatch hilarious - the ship's crew just running around blasting each other without a care in the world.
I gotta score a copy of that! These days my quake 3 jam is OpenArena, but it would be great to have the Star Trek take too.
Interesting, when you look up the coupe, there is actually a recall for the mice. Owners were asked to destroy them, because the mouse ball is a choking hazard for small children.
Happy New Year LGR! Thank you for another year of awesome videos, and here's to another! 🎉🎊
Never noticed that SICK full box of chaos theory right there. That is WICKED cool.
This is a treat! The Trek culture references, and the odd Star wars One, and then the mayhem and the 16+ gore on the preschool kids mouse! Awesome end to a great year!
Thanks for all of the blasts from the pasts.
I want that phaser mouse (and all the related accessories of course). I’m surprised I missed this back in the day. I had a lot of Star Trek toys. My favorite was a tricorder. I used to “scan” everyone and everything. I’m sure I annoyed my parents with it.
I just commented on how sad I was to have missed these back in the day
I think those Little Tikes Cozy Coupes are pretty well known around the world. They existed here in the UK, at least. I had one when I was a young kid. I remember running around in it, pretending I was in The Flintstones and pulling my feet up to hurtle down small hills. Good times.
Now you need a Mesa Boogie Mk. V PC for this Boss SD-1 mouse
That last mouse (or very similar model) starred in the movie "Antitrust" from 2001 - I immidiatly recognized it! I must rewatch that movie in near future after 15 years or so to be completly sure, that it was exactly the same... Greetings from Poland!
I had no idea there was an officially licenced genre mashup of Star Trek Voyager and Quake 3
I like the format. Couple of novelty mice and then try to game with the best of the three.
"We need backup?!" "It's on the way I have a little tikes car" hah best quote ever.
The cozy coupe mouse was used in a movie in germany called "Startup" with Claire Forlani & Ryan Phillipe. You can see this mices at minute 50. In the "Kindergarden".
I'd never thought I'd see LGR, as a fully grown man. Play some kids software using a Little Tikes mouse.
And you thought that's weird, you haven't seen him play Unreal Tournament with it, yet.
Used to watch you a lot. I don't really anymore. But I'm glad to have stumbled upon this video to see that you're still making videos. keep up the great work!
I spent so many hours of my childhood playing star trek voyager elite force!! Haha! I figured out you could one hit kill the hirogen boss by hitting him with the tranquilizer hypo spray (I'm still very proud of figuring that one out)
I NEVER KNEW THAT WHAT
When I saw the Cozy Coupe I immediately thought of "Antitrust" and the Day care! I actually had a Pablo tablet, it wasn't geared towards kids but as a budget tablet, didn't care for it back then either.
Man, that Boss pedal is awesome! I might have to grab one! Looks like it’s about 120-150 on eBay if you’re curious. I just wish the pedal was mouse 1 :/
The last remaining guitar/music store in my town has a BOSS DS-1 mouse in use on their main point-of-sale computer. I make a comment about it every time I'm in there buying new strings for my bass. Every 10 years or so.
I was *not* expecting to enjoy 25 minutes about some junky mice but i have been proven wrong!
3:02 "it's dead Jim!" missed opportunity!
4:10 "there's an extra bit of resistance there, I thought that that was futile" ... I see what you did there!
Oh man the SD-1 mouse is an abomination, I want one!
That's what I miss about the 90s. Even mini peripherals were entertaining. Now its just how much neon they can put in a mouse.
That Boss mouse is boss! They should make their entire pedal lineup available as mice so I can hook all of them up simultaneously in a chain like guitar!
Holy shit. I had heard of that ST Voyager game but definitely didn't expect it to be straight up Quake 3 Arena, lmao.
I really liked the last mouse episodeb and this one. Could this be a monthly series? Are there enough weird mice in the world?
As a 90s gamer AND a guitar player I love the super overdrive mouse. Keep up the good work. Love the channel
I'm going to admit it I laughed really hard when he said "gotta warm these old balls up"
4:09 - "...There's just, like, an extra bit of resistance there. I thought that that was futile, but I guess not."
*The Borg disliked that.*
This could have easily been a Christmas theme with Three Wise Mice.
15:31 I had one of those KidBoards back in the day! I forgot how ridiculously fricking massive they were.
Nice throwback, I had a couple of those Boss guitar pedals back in the day, pretty sure even an SD-1.
Take care and have a good 2022 everyone. :)
Clint, this video was hella enjoyable. Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year.
