Yes, the rumours are true, Colin Crossing and I are breaking up.
Big sad.
No only kidding; however, I am just not using the Colin Crossing paths on my Animal Crossing New Horizons island any more... tl;dr: I just want a change.
It's been a fun ride.

I’ve been so overwhelmed with the artistry of so many of the islands - I just can’t keep up with it. So I’ve been trying to do more “basic Animal Crossing” with my islands - kind of OG. I love to see what people have made- I just don’t think I can do it. Cheers to you to making BIG changes and trying something new ☺️
I definitely feel you on not wanting to update your paths every season, i've never done that and it sounds exhausting.
I just have a few items i wanna switch out every season (like the grass, mountain, tree standees and the volcano)
I also havent ever "completed" an island, it's always changing!
It was definitely fun for the first year I played through the game - but now it’s a little tiring for sure. That’s the point I want to get to with my island! Just making minor changes for holidays etc!⭐️
Can't wait to see the new look of your island!! I want to change the look of my island too but I didn't know what to do yet.
Aw thank you Colby! I’ve gone through so many different themes on my island over time, I’d say don’t put pressure on trying to figure out what you want to do next or else it becomes a chore 🥲⭐️

thank u for posting this 🥺🥲 i was about to deck out my entire island in the colin paths (which i love) with his current sakura roads and i was feeling super overwhelmed. this made me feel like i can chill out and calm down a bit with the custom paths. u are so brave and strong hehe.
Aw no problem! Haha please don’t let this video dissuade you because I truly LOVE the look of colin’s paths!! But I do see what you mean, they can be a bit overwhelming! I hope you have lots of fun making over your island regardless of whether you use them or not 🥰❤️
I posted mine on the dreams area, then visited another one and was thinking, wow i have no skills , cause my island has zero paths.
Noooo never think that!!! Haha I didn’t have paths for a while on my island! Everyone’s island is great in their own way 🥰❤️

Wow that is such a fun question: I don’t know if this is a strange answer, but honestly I think my biggest achievement in ACNH is the fact that I’ve kept my same island since the start of the game! What do you think yours is?❤️
