I highly recommend (whether it's leather, leather suede, cotton, cotton-silk blend, etc.) pre-stretching your wrapping material prior to wrapping. I'll hang the material from a hook with weights tied to the ends for a day or two.
at the end i lost hahaha.
me too I think mine will be a big knot lol
No hishigami?
That was as clear and understandable as it can get! Great video, thank you for passing on this art.
and yet my brain cant get it, I must have mental issues I guess
He didn't show you how to finish it.
This was very clear and helpful. Thanks!
The last knots are not clear at all
Why the French sounding music for a traditional Japanese katana
That's a piano and accordian...not French at all lol
@@ImUnadjustedNontheless, annoying song. But intention of video was good
Awesome
Tisztelettel kérdezem, hogy azok a kis papír háromszögek nem kellenek mindig?
didn't show the knot on the other side of the tsuka. I can finish the knot but how does it start?
You literally can't see the knot getting tied at all...
Hi, where do you get that turpentine stick? I can’t seem to find it online.
Why didn't use hishigami? I also do tsukamaki but I always use hishigami. I think it is part of the tradition.
Apa judul music nya? 😍🎵🎶🤔
Can we send tsuka to you to be wrapped?
Now why the hell did they not show how to run the cord wrap through the butt cap of the handle???
What type of fabric is this
I live in America and I'm not sure where to get a turpentine stick. I've checked online like Amazon but it doesn't show up. My tsuka wrap just came undone last night and needs replacing. I could really use assistance if anyone knows thanks.
I’m guessing it’s pine resin dissolved in turpentine, then as it thickens gathered onto a stick. Wet occasionally with turpentine to keep gummy, if necessary. You can find pine resin at companies that supply Civil War reenactors and Rendezvouers.
I mean it may not be traditional but double sided tape. I've seen contact cement used if you want something sticker.
Jó az hagyományos fenyőgyantának is. A terpentin egy olaj.
I think they mean colophony, tree resin
@@FrickinCCDeVileV ok thanks, I'll look for that
