Sure looks like a gray whale. In the Atlantic, they were hunted to extinction in the 1600's or early 1700's. This one must have come across the top of North America or Asia, similar to the one that showed up in the Mediterranean Sea a few years ago and others that have occasionally shown up elsewhere in the Atlantic recently. What can you say, climate change.
1-How about that it just came from under DEEPER waters and that it was quite a beautiful sight to behold, and you ain't SEEn nothing yet? 2- It aelso proves that everyone and their doG , and the whale two want to come to Miami, right? 3-And Bella did you say ''gray'' as in the color of wolves...? ...Shema!!!.
Very Lucky! We anticipate that gray whales would wander through the Northern Passage as the ice recedes. They are extinct in the Atlantic but hoping that one sliver of sunshine in accelerated climate change will be gray whales from the Pacific repopulating the Atlantic. Fingers crossed that the Global Conveyor Belt does not halt. That would put a huge damper on this, and a whole lot of other things. Congrats, guys! Thanks so much for sharing your exciting day!
Absolutely amazing, you were absolutely lucky.
Wow, It's my dream to see a whale in the ocean like this, hopefully some day I will🤞So, where in Miami is this? Great video
The thing to know is if this sighting is a a good or a bad thing and to whom...
