Hi Tori just looking back at your videos with miss Nancy and the truly amazing bond you had with her you could see how happy you both were I’m going to rewatch your journey from the beginning again ❤xxx
@ thanks for the reply as always tori and when the time is right to watch your beautiful amazing journey together you won’t be disappointed be safe and take care as always looking forward to your next adventure ❤️xxx
@@missnancysdayoff thank you so much for the ❤️ Tori started watching you and Nancy again from the beginning what an amazing bond you had be safe and take care ❤️xxx
A beautiful place for a swim, well done for getting back in the water and it was so good that Miss Nancy was creating her own fun adventure while you were in there, she is getting so amazing at getting across the rocks! Love the mention of the crystal maze too 😀❤️
Super nice and fun to explore, I was highly amused when I saw what Miss Nancy had been up to 🤣 I don’t know why sand sends her crazy! I used to love the crystal maze when I was a kid, all those fake exotic sets I just wanted to live there !
Yes a incredible spot, the power of the waves creating it I guess. You went in twice no wonder you were extra cold just to show us this special place thank you.I can understand why Miss Nancy wasn't pleased ❤
it’s a crazy place, even more so because of the tides most of the time it’s underwater! and sometimes you can get the sunsetting through the gap at the end. it was worth getting cold for you guys, infact it’s making me want to go back. Poor Miss Nancy she hates being left behind but really didn’t want to have to come in after me 💔
Hope you and Miss Nancy have a wonderful Christmas and that you both get the presents that you wish for and deserve because you have both been very good girls. Looking forward to the new year and all the new adventures that await you in 2024
Thank you! 😊 it is beautiful but I always manage to go at high tide previously when there’s a lot less to see, it was amazing to hit it at a good time! MIss Nancy was so good bless her didn’t like me going out of sight 🐕😍💕
Good going. I was swimming off Scarborough until very late November, it is like people say - once you get past the initial shock it is genuinely amazing. I often wonder why people seem to spend so much time and money on "finding" wellbeing, when nature provides it free. Maybe I am lucky - I don't analyse it, just make the most of it! Keep the videos coming please.
thank you! it’s true i think it’s mind over matter, yes it is cold, and the thought of that used to stop me but not anymore. it’s the best reset I’ve found! thanks so much i will 🙏
That's a beautiful location for a swim i imagine it must be full of people in the summer, I'm so jealous of you living in such a wonderful location as Cornwall really is a magical place with some fantastic beaches. I really love you're uploads especially you're bond with miss Nancy. me and my four Legged pal go on adventures everywhere together there's really nothing better in my opinion.
It’s a stunning place, having it to ourselves was perfect! So many amazing beaches to choose from I’m lucky. Thank you, I agree adventures wouldn’t be the same without Miss Nancy! 🙏🐕
I already loved Cornwall before watching your vids... but yo uare selling it even more now. You have a lovely, refreshing channel with a great name... great editing and use of music too. Does it show that I am a fan?
Absolute fab video, and loved this immensely as I used cold water swimming to rid myself from long covid 2 years ago, now need to start again as I miss it greatly but need to harden up.Great filming and editing but also great capturing Miss Nancy zoomies.
Thank you I really appreciate that! That’s wonderful, it’s funny I have managed to totally change how I feel about it and harden up as you say this last couple of months, I’ve honestly gone from hating the feel of the ice cold water on my body, to laughing and finding it all funny and exhilarating it’s nuts! Never thought it would happen. Get back in there 🤗

New sub here. I love dogs so here I am. I think Miss Nancy might have a little separation anxiety like a lot of dogs. She loves you too much to allow you to go anywhere without her. 🥰 My labradoodle sometimes turns her bed upside down and inside out when I'm away for even 5 minutes. Then she goes and eats all the tissues out of the bin. 🤣 As a side note I also used to visit Cornwall every year with my parents when I was young. We'd drive down from Liverpool or get the train, stay over for a couple of days in a farmhouse B&B, then cross from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly for 2 weeks, come back to Cornwall and stay at the B&B again, then drive home. At the age of 39 I've not been back for probably more than 20 years now. I spent so many holidays down there that it became a bit of a home away from home and I miss locations like the one your were at in the video. So many little hidden beaches and caves around there, it's great.
We are glad to have you thanks for subscribing! Yeah she maybe does a bit she doesn’t really like being alone but she is soooo much better than she used to be. It used to make me sad how she would follow me from room to room, now I’m the one desperate for attention! Miss Nancy loves tearing up tissues also, the bin is always a place to find fun stuff! That sounds like incredible holidays lucky you, I’ve never been to the Scilly isles it looks beautiful. The coast round here really is so h spoilt and beautiful 💕
Well done....bless your dog living her best life... I have exactly the same problems I always want to go snorkelling but my dog is with me all the time... Wouldn't change him for the world but I can't do anything😂
@@missnancysdayoff It's very hard I can't leave my dog in the van as I am scared in case I come back and the window is smashed and he is gone..... Also in the summer it's too hot to leave them in the van... If I go in the Van without him I end up missing him as well... Probably the same for you but it's great to see people rescuing greyhounds... The woman in my street always rescues greyhounds one after another... They are great dogs very loving.. i Will look forward to yours and Nancy's adventures ..
@eyeinthesky74 it’s true it’s exactly like that! I don’t like leaving her in the van longer than a very short time. But if I ever leave her with someone I miss her horribly very quickly 😂 Thank you, she’s my first but I can see it will be hard to stop just like that lady! 🙏
Beautiful beautiful dog. So good. What a good pupster. Love where you are. Where is it? My dog and cat would love it there. Your dog is such a good girl. Our Red Setter would love that as would my Norwegian Forest Kat, who travels and loves outside. Love your dog so beautiful xxxxx
Thank you I agree she is a beauty! This is West Cornwall on the Penwith Peninsula. Your dog and cat sound great would they really both come on walks?! I absolutely love cats 😍 A Norwegian Forest cat sounds very special! ❤️
Well done! This is an unbelieveably beautiful place. I have been there before but never been in the sea there. So I plan to swim there next summer, but I am unsure of what is the best tide level for it. Your swim seemed to have the perfect depth of water. I'd be happy and grateful if you could tell me about where/when in the tide cycle you visited ❤ All the best to you and your beautiful and elegant dog. 🥰
It is a beautiful place and that is the first time I’ve got the tide right, I usually go when it’s high and there isn’t much there! That time I was there just before low tide and the pool bit was really nice to swim in. I’m going to experiment a couple of hrs before to see if it’s still good for swimming, but yes go at low tide! Thank you so much she is elegant isn’t she 🥰
@@missnancysdayoff Thank you for your good advice 😍 I have heard that it is not so good to be there at incoming tide, for the water can burst in through the cave in an unpleasant way. And yes, she is so elegant and graceful 🥰
What a beautiful place, I'm quite jealous, it's been non stop rain in North Wales since November so difficult to get to our beauty spots and enjoy them 😊
@@missnancysdayoff It really is during the spring and summer. I’ve got the Irish Sea on one side of my house and mountains and castles on the other along the whole coast 😊 only problem is after years you start to take it all for granted.
@TheBachian you’re so lucky, I visited a friend who lives edge of snowdonia and I loved it, I would live there for sure. It is easy to take all that beauty for granted.
@@missnancysdayoff Snowdownia is on my doorstep and the park is unbelievably beautiful. As a younger man I spent a lot of time doing route marches all over it with the army and slightly started to dislike it; 30 miles over two days with packs, boots etc got old quickly 😊 but I’ve have the luxury of seeing it from a train going to and from my university over the years which has made me appreciate it again 😊 Think I visited Barnstaple years ago which was nice, did some clay pigeon shooting on a beach while I was there, would rather have just enjoyed the peace and nature really, army again! 😊 hope you get the chance to enjoy it again up here, Dyserth falls (the fairy glen) is very picturesque east of Snowdonia on the coast and inland towards Denbigh and onto Llangollen is lovely on a sunny day.
Like Marilyn Monroe sang on 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend': 'And you can't straighten up when you bend' (like me nowadays) You feel fine now but it's all being stored up for payback later on. I'm getting your name put down for a place in this care home when you're wheelchair bound. I've heard the biggest test for wild swimming is to find a place where there's a 100 foot cliff drop and dive totally naked into water with ice floating round in it and then sleep in an igloo all night still naked and no covers over you. I watched one survival video on YT where 2 females got stranded on a mointain ledge for 8 days due to blizzards. They survived to be lifted off by a helicopter but one of them was so traumatised her hair had turned white and she had to be put in locked psychiatric unit because she was foaming at the mouth and threatening to bite anyone who came near her. They even put a scold over her head but she got so hysterical she died from an epileptic seizure and swallowed her tongue. (True or false?) I'd rather have a harem of lovely young ladies vieing for my affections; about 75 of them which is what suicide bombers are told before they go out to cause death and destruction. 75 maidens waiting for them in paradise is standard for Muslim males; females have no human rights even in paradise. (GUMF!)
@missnancysdayoff I have the river taff lol but I don't have the bottle. I'm going to poldice in Cornwall on the weekend and I will try to get in the sea up there . I went in the sea in North Wales about a .month ago but there was a swimming group and I tried it with them
Do you know of any discreet swimming places around the Redruth area and not buzzy as the less people there will be a bonus as limited people will see me dragged out lol
That cave place was so cool, so much awesome scenery down in Cornwall. Congrats for braving the cold once more, you have the heart of a lion Victoria. Maybe take your shoes off and snuggle your feet under the dog for warmth next time your feet are cold after the swim, as long as Nancy doesn't mind too much of course hehe
It was a really cool place to swim I’ll definitely be going back. So much coastline to choose from in Cornwall which is a boon! That’s a good idea, Miss Nancy is usually really good about letting me warm my cold hands on her so perhaps I could give the feet a try!
I’m trying to grow my courage 😂 Miss Nancy is so sweet in her pink coat right! She came right to the edge but I’m glad she didn’t follow me in, best to play in the sand 💕
You should invest in some neoprene socks to help with the cold feet, maybe a swimming cap to keep your head warm, the beach at holleywell bay Cornwall is amazing great cave when tides out amazing beach.
I"ll be honest your video came up and your body n swim suit got me watching, but when I saw your big boots pilot jacket and lovely dog that looks a mad as a box of frogs then so calm i was hucked,be safe beach at hollywell Bay can have big rip tides.
Hi Toni, I'm in Crackington Haven, cornwall about 15 mins from the beach and you're welcome to stay on the drive if ever you want to visit the area? Not sure how I can pass on contact details without everyone seeing them though? Any ideas let me know. I've just got my own small camper and am getting ready for some solo adventures 🙂
that’s super kind thank you! you can use my work email if you want to give me some details 🙏 That sounds great what do you have planned, I hope you have some good adventures!
I love to swim in the waters around Cornwall but I’m a wimp and no where near as brave as you! 😮 It’s wet suit swimming only for me lol 😆….. that’s a cracking pool for a swim though where is it? I’m sure I’ve seen photos of the arch?
It’s a new thing, even in summer I hardly swam cause I disliked the cold water 😂 yes I think it’s quite famous, the song of the sea cave at Nanjizal, felt really special
Well initially I just put it on because I couldn’t find a hair and and didn’t want my hair to get freezing wet, but now I’m thinking it could be a permanent feature 🤣 Amazing spot
My wife is an open water swimmer, she goes all year round. I think she’s nuts, she’s tried to get me in but I prefer sitting in the swim centre coffee shop next to the log burner. All power to you though, that place looks gorgeous.
so cool how often does she go? I need to be more frequent i think. i have always looked at people doing it as totally nuts also whilst being quietly jealous, i had to try and do it!
@@missnancysdayoff She goes at least once a week, sometimes more. She has started a local branch of the Bluetit Chill Swimmers group which, despite its tongue in cheek name, has a number of male participants. One of the male members is well into his 80’s and is a local legend amongst the open water swimming community in these parts. They take photos of them selves holding up sheets of ice in the water. I look on with complete bemusement from the safety of the coffee shop!
You are truely blessed , beautiful and mad ! 😂 But love where you are. I'd love to swim through there ' in the summer ' ... Much prefer sat now in front of my hot stove on my narrowboat ,with a nice cold drink of water watching a great vlog 😂 Wouldn't blame you for that being a one off ... yeh lol ..
@@missnancysdayoff p.s deffo deffo a summer swim ! Jealous you get to swim in the sea lol I havnt even seen the sea in person for over 20 years ! Plenty of river dipping though 🙄
@@missnancysdayoff does the canal lead to the sea ? Not really unless I go down a tidal river .... I could I suppose, however the colour of the water will be somewhat different to the sea at cormwell 😂 Wouldn't fancy a dip in there.
If I didn’t live so far away in Manchester I would apply for the job of Miss Nancy’s assistant cameraman, andI would only charge you peanuts(salted and roasted) as treats! Maybe if you ever decide to explore the NW Coast I could audition for the job!
Haha, some awesome zoomies from Miss Nancy in her funky poncho and everything seems better in the world! She’s such a good girl, even when she’s a bit sulky! That place is incredible, the light coming through at the end! Almost can’t believe somewhere so stunning is in the UK! Well done for pushing yourself, I don’t think there are many who would/could do that at this time of year. I hope your poor toes thawed quickly! Thanks for letting us tag along.

😊 sweet video but far to cold for me I'd be hanging with the pup, looks a nice place to go fishing
Well she is a pretty sensible dog I must admit 😊
@@missnancysdayoff that's a quick response are you trapped in van with bad weather, pat for sensible pup
I was on my phone 😂 nope not in can at moment, I’ll pass it on to Miss Nancy thanks!
Well done....bless your dog living her best life... I have exactly the same problems I always want to go snorkelling but my dog is with me all the time... Wouldn't change him for the world but I can't do anything😂
It’s true! I love Miss Nancy to bits and and wouldn’t be without her but I long to go paddleboarding 🤣
We men of a certain age and these UA-cam thumbnails! 😅 Men of culture gather here! Fair play though - rocking body 👍🙂
🤣
Wow, what a gutsy lady! that takes some doing. I was shivering watching it! 😂 beaut lady and beaut dog to
Do you think you’re dog would like my German shepherd 🤔🤣
The gal ain’t stupid. She makes the thumbnails especially for men of culture like you to drop on in. Hence why I’m here lol 😂
She is a bit scared of them in general but if he is chilled out then probably!
@TravellingTorunn that sounds highly likely, getting there say an hour or two before while it’s still in its way out will be safest! 🤗
A very British version of Baywatch. 😂
A courageous adventure. ❤🙂😎👋
🙈 omg it’s true, swimming in a woolly hat and drinking tea🤣
Wet suits are cheap and effective and advisable to be worn in Brittish waters.
if I want to stay in a long time I’d definitely consider a wet suit, really enjoying the cold water at the moment!
What a beautiful place, I'm quite jealous, it's been non stop rain in North Wales since November so difficult to get to our beauty spots and enjoy them 😊
Great place to live though so much wild beauty, rain is a pest though! 😊
Oh and the horseshoe pass and worlds end are a must just off the old Mold road between Wrexham and Dyserh or Llangollen and Denbigh 😊
Well done, you are getting braver! Can we expect to see a cross Channel swimming adventure this time next year!?
😂 oh my gosh, with Miss Nancy on my supply boat 🤔
(GUMF!)
Stunning place to swim 😊well done 👍🏻💦 I seriously need to get down further into Cornwall
I know I haven’t seen all of Cornwall but the Penwith Peninsula is just so stunning! Thanks 😊💕
Niiice, i miss cornwall especially in summer
it’s a beautiful place, I love the winter when it’s so quiet!
@@RoughWalkers i don’t know that area yet, I feel like this is the Wild West?!
@roughwalkers i honestly never knew a windier place it’s nuts 🤣 i really want to try a wild camp, you think i should go round here then?!
@roughwalkers your right that is a great idea, I need to find somewhere that actually has some sand at high tide of things could get a bit watery 😅

@missnancysdayoff I have the river taff lol but I don't have the bottle. I'm going to poldice in Cornwall on the weekend and I will try to get in the sea up there . I went in the sea in North Wales about a .month ago but there was a swimming group and I tried it with them

@missnancysdayoff if its dry and I stay on two wheels I'll be OK. Thanks
Do you know of any discreet swimming places around the Redruth area and not buzzy as the less people there will be a bonus as limited people will see me dragged out lol
I am so pleased that I am not gay! 😉
Whereabouts in cornwallnis this, would love to photograph it .
Penwith Peninsula , it made me want a proper camera for sure! The light is incredible round here too ai guess that’s why the artists love it
Good for you!
Miss Nancy didn't look happy with you when you got back. Beautiful place. 😊
Such a cross patch but she got over it, really nice place 🤗
Where is that? I’m in Launceston and would love to go there!
Near lands end!
@@missnancysdayoffThank you - I might venture down at some point! BTW swimming in December - are you quite mad 🤣

Incredibile un bagno in inverno, in un luogo magico... ma che coraggio hai......😅 ma Nancy in rosa ❤ credo preferisca giocare con la sabbia
Thanks for the tips! `I will look up Holleywell I’d love to explore more caves.
I"ll be honest your video came up and your body n swim suit got me watching, but when I saw your big boots pilot jacket and lovely dog that looks a mad as a box of frogs then so calm i was hucked,be safe beach at hollywell Bay can have big rip tides.
@leedeaton9461 😂 I’m glad you stuck around! Thanks I’ll be careful, I’m somewhat scared of the open ocean!
I'm same I think its cause im getting older you realise your own mortality more, take care looking forward to your next adventure.
I enjoyed watching your dog zooming around on the sand. :)
Me too my girl 🥰
Hi Toni, I'm in Crackington Haven, cornwall about 15 mins from the beach and you're welcome to stay on the drive if ever you want to visit the area? Not sure how I can pass on contact details without everyone seeing them though? Any ideas let me know. I've just got my own small camper and am getting ready for some solo adventures 🙂
that’s super kind thank you! you can use my work email if you want to give me some details 🙏 That sounds great what do you have planned, I hope you have some good adventures!
Well done you 👏👏👏

I love to swim in the waters around Cornwall but I’m a wimp and no where near as brave as you! 😮 It’s wet suit swimming only for me lol 😆….. that’s a cracking pool for a swim though where is it? I’m sure I’ve seen photos of the arch?
It’s a new thing, even in summer I hardly swam cause I disliked the cold water 😂 yes I think it’s quite famous, the song of the sea cave at Nanjizal, felt really special
It’s definitely good for the body a soul and certainly makes you feel alive, keep it up. 👍 thanks for the info I’ll check it out…. But in a wetsuit 😂

@martynlewis9020 that’s brilliant good for her! Sheets of ice, oh my gosh I can see I have a way to go 😂🥶 goals!

Doesn’t the canal lead to the sea?! 🤔 you definitely need to see the 🌊
@@missnancysdayoff does the canal lead to the sea ? Not really unless I go down a tidal river ....
I could I suppose, however the colour of the water will be somewhat different to the sea at cormwell 😂

@@Jason-cj3ih 🤣 I’ve never fancied a canal swim myself tbh
You found a beautiful place but wow I bet it was cold
A bit brisk 😅
Nancy looks so cute in her pink coat
So smart right! 😍
Could take one of those collapsible bowls and another flask of hot water to warm your feet up and some thermal socks
That sounds good how dreamy getting a hot foot bath after swimming, I may need an even bigger bag though!
If I didn’t live so far away in Manchester I would apply for the job of Miss Nancy’s assistant cameraman, andI would only charge you peanuts(salted and roasted) as treats!
Maybe if you ever decide to explore the NW Coast I could audition for the job!
That is great news, and bags of peanuts is about what I could afford to pay you so this could work out 😅
Haha, some awesome zoomies from Miss Nancy in her funky poncho and everything seems better in the world! She’s such a good girl, even when she’s a bit sulky!
That place is incredible, the light coming through at the end! Almost can’t believe somewhere so stunning is in the UK!
