excellent shots from the bridge 👍looks like a points failure at least they've got diesel's to move it i remember they had one at ramsgate sidings years ago
As someone who lives in the South West, I never knew the 377s (or any mainline stock for that matter) used a whistle instead of a horn, seems odd to hear such an old fashioned sound coming from a modern train.
@@trainsdu4940 I'm not sure as some of them apparently have different horns , but from what I've heard in real life ..375/377 horns have prescense to them 😭I wont be suprised if the other electrostarts have different horns due to the fact that they were made in different time periods .
Looking at the track diagrams for Jubilee sidings it appears there are a set of trap points to prevent unauthorised moves on to the branch line. These will just run the train into the ballast, which it seems it did!
Quite a bad derailment... Are there some dead or injured people? It looks like the cause of this is linked to the rail junctions. What was the service of this train?
How did that happen, the last time it happened was in Brighton Nice horn from 377148 The front of the class 375615 is dirty and where the Cuopling Thing is has a slimy face
These things happen ,takes something out of alignment nobody was hurt and that’s the main thing but try and explain this to customers they think it’s done deliberately .

Whoops! Nice footage there mate.
Nice Wisel and a wave from the driver in 377148

Depot whistle. Much quieter than a horn in depot. And elss likely to kill your ears no?
@@NSE465 375 and 377horns are deadly , sound like gods choir is arriving lool
@@bb-3653 The same goes with all other electrostars: 375s, 377s, 379s, 387s (i don't know about 357s...)

I was there at one point, I have a pic. I was on the green bridge, I live near there in Tonbridge and watch the trains often.
I think it was a SPAD with the points set away from the direction of the train. But I don't know

There was a SouthEastern train at Redhill today, although it wasnt in service...
There was one at East Croydon once
AND IT WAS IN SERVICE
How disappointing :( What caused the derailment?
Maybe a SPAD?
I think it would be fault catch points
Or mabye something got caught in the rails
How comes that 375 had a pantograph on the lead set?
Pretty sure all 375/6s are equipped with them, but I’m not aware of any section they use with OHLE
Class 375/6s are equipped with pantographs and 3rd rail shoes as they were built for AC and DC
Just like how the 377/7s got pantographs and 3rd rail shoes (correct me if I’m wrong on those 2 comments)
@@MigcoconutThePortugueseBusDude ah right, ty had no idea!
The class 357 can also work on this network because it's dual voltage
How did this happen???
Gosh, hope everyone is okay on this service?
It wasn't in service.
@@trainspottersouth That's a relief. Was the crew okay?

The train was coming out of a siding so it only had the driver on board. And the driver was fine. It's pretty minor and would've been low speed
Dead? Don't be so stupid..
Anther great video mate😌👍
I thought 377s were 4 carriages long, nice video
No they made up of 3 - 4 and 5 car formations
377/3s have 3 carriages and 377/6s or 377/7s have 5
**Waiting for a video about the Bogner derailment** RIP Littlehampton-Bogner Service.
I was working today so couldn't get any footage of that.
Yeah it’s fine, I don’t really care :). Don’t worry lol. Your vids are already great.

They were waiting for a crane was the last I heard.
Sugar that’s. A bad derailment
Definitely is not bad, this is fairly minor,
@@CS_22 I agree we have seen much much worse
The trains are filthy over there as well
Damn...HOW this happen
I believe a SPAD.
@@DaveDVideoMaker oh I see
Not a spad, it derailed on a set of points, which were not set correctly.
The service caused confusion and delay
Lol
Poor 377 :(
Most weirest thing that i saw this train in service yesterday 13/02/2023 and it still had marks of derailment on it.
That's a very bad derailment
Oh don't be so silly!
The ScotRail one was Tho
RIP the 3 souls lost on that train
This one not so much
@@chrisstocks7137 this was due to geological events sadly , this one however was likely faulty equipment, or perhaps a driver error
@@bb-3653 I doubt driver error
