my fingers looked like that from smoking weed in the 60s I still smoke everyday and work like a 20 yr old but I quit the tobacco long ago love my Esee and will try this contraption if it anit the price of my knife
Here in Europe, prices are a lot higher than in the U.S. For example, the pro pack lll costs $1,886 here. I think I paid between 3,500 and 4,000 for everything.
This metal is very easy to sharpen. So it doesn't matter which method you use. This knife is sharpened, with 20 degrees per site. The end result was a flat edge of 40 degrees inclusive. Someone else wanted to keep its convex edge, so I made a microbevel of 30 grade per site. It's up to you what you want.
Yes the knife had a convex grind at first, but the owner didn't care, so I turned it into a flat grind. From 20 degrees per side. If he had wanted to keep the convex grind, I would have added a secondary bevel of 30 degrees. per side.

Hello, is there a easier way to sharpen it, do I need to know certain angles for the blade and stuff,(I’m a beginner) thanks!

Did you have to use the 1/4 inch clamp
Yes
Did that esee start out with a convexed edge?
