- It’s certainly easier to make assumptions about people than it is to spend time getting to know someone. We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series 'Tell My Story.'
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to guess their blind date partner's interests and past experiences based only on their partner's appearance. When they learned their partner's real answers, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

I had a friend just like him. She's doesn't talk much, she's calm, and at first I thought she's shy but it turned out she have no problem talking in public at all. Like she would say she's nervous but she always nailed it in the end
These two seemed to really suit each other, but then they tell us they haven't met up for that date yet. Like call me crazy, but if you were that interested, I would think you'd have jumped right on making plans.
People have jobs. People have school. People have family stuff.

It's interesting that in a lot of these videos, when people are guessing things about the other person, they guess the answers that they eventually use for themselves. People do, generally, project a lot, so it makes sense.

Well... When I started dating my bf 3 years ago, he was very introvert and I was the opposite, but now we've adjusted and he became more sociable and I've become more reserved. So you never know how a relationship influences you

I'm an introvert, and honestly almost everything Travis says I resonate with. My goal for this year was to go out more, make more connections. I spend 99% of my time at home and by myself, and it's so hard to break that barrier sometimes

Y'all! Being extroverted isn't liking being around people or not being shy. It is a matter of what you heal and recharge from. Introverts heal and recharge on their own, while extroverts do so around other people. You can be an introvert and love to party, talk a lot, be outgoing, or hang out with friends. You can be an extrovert who only like low key hang outs or hates public speaking. It has literally nothing to do with the activities you partake in. It is not external, it is internal. but people out here playing games, so go off i guess.
