@RockMusician97 What normally works for me... If it's a more lighthearted song, I go sit in the middle of the grass somewhere, take a notebook (not a laptop) and write in the color Orange. If it's not, go somewhere where you can barely see the pages that you're writing on, and write down every word that comes to mind for that emotion. And then piece it together afterwords.
I know it's strange.

Wow that was definitely amazing how you came up with that song. Being a songwriter myself, I know that it's tough to come up with a good song, one that people can say, "I really like that song." This is really good and it sounds so emotional and you seem like you connected with the lyrics. I honestly think that this your future, I think music is what your called for.
