This Q&A was soooo sweet, and sooo humanizing. I watch your show every day and it’s gets too easy to get used to just seeing you as a talking head, and not a family man in a love-hate relationship with the White Sox. The little stories about the wife and the kids and the dog, make it so much easier to connect, especially as a woman. You guys should be doing a lot more content like this if you want to reach more young women (you’ve already got me, regardless 😂). I think it also goes a long way to remind people what the important things in life are, and to get offline and go experience them.

BEN! FOR YOUR DOG HAPPY. I was a Veterinary Hospital Tech and Manager for 8 years. I highly recommend tough love for the dog. Topping his food with human food when he chooses not to eat what you give him, is impacting his natural instinct to scavenge! While incorporating whole, raw foods into his diet can be very positive, you are essentially doing the "dog version" of human child not eating their dinner because they know they can persuade their Dad for chocolate chip cookies later and get them. Broccoli < cookies. Topping Happy's food with cheese, is rewarding him! He is training YOU :)

On the welding question, under Trump energy producers in North Dakota were hiring welders at $100k plus. Huge money for that area in 2018-19.
I'm in New England, welders in the Boston scene make bank. The ones in NH and ME work at the shipyard and make bank. I should have taken welding rather than doing electrical and education/

Absolutely delightful. What a pleasure listening to Ben's viewpoint on so many topics, especially relating to his family. He is a truly good and entertaining young man, who has great wisdom. He is taste in classical music is inspirational, that he supports the classics in a world that's lost all sense of the wonders of such music, as art, history, poetry which help to cope with stresses and the constant barrage of bad news and disinformation.
I am with Ben about camping. If I was meant to sleep outside, God would not have made me in the late 1900s. And I greatly appreciate it!

My uncle was a POW in Japan during WWII. He was stabbed in the back 3 times by a guard wielding a bayonet. He survived and returned home. And no camping for me!

I love the most the fact that there is literally zero pretence as to why this was live on YT. "Like moths to the flame" is unashamedly, proudly business, and a great example of what you see is what you get.
