Truly beautiful
We have similar stones in New Jersey. The place is called Ringing Rock. It is near the city New Hope.
They don't particularly sound like what is going on at 3:00 in this vid! Don't get me wrong, there are a few rocks at RR that have surprising tones when struck (although a lot do not) but when dude was rubbing the rock at 3:00 it sounded more like the wine glass vibration tone
@@SkimboshOne rock doesn't make any sound at all. It's the *pile of rocks* at Ringing Rock that makes the noise. People have demonstrated that if you move one out of contact with the heap it stops ringing; and the rocks that do ring do so because they're contacting the pile in a specific way.
I believe the cuts are forming the rock into a small resonant structure similar to the full-scale heap so that it can resonate in a similar manner, but portably.

Near Upper Black Eddy PA. on the Delaware river , there's a state park called Ringing Rocks containing boulders laying on top of each other. These glacial placed rocks ring like a bell when struck by a hand held stone or hammer.
