WHOA WHOA WHOA! You're telling me after 50 seconds there's a 5 HP damage increase every 10 seconds... AND... a 3 minute hard cap on gas plays? Sounds like a challenge to me! Thanks so much for all the work you've put into this. My cotton stuffed head is about to explode from all this gas math.

The aggresive ramp up also incentivizes players to refresh by going back into circle even if it's just for a split second. This creates interaction and more skilled clutch gas plays. Love it.

but it starts so aggrsive, not allowing just quick rotation in gas late game, Warzone 1 had it JUST PERFECT

Man you deserved to work for call of duty. You kind of criticize it but make it in a constructive way, as it should but all the numbers and everything you do deserve a place on their team as it seems there are so many trainees or incompetent people working now for the game. Congrats!

I personally feel for 99% of players stim timing is not a skillful thing to master but something that makes stim plays and stims themselves inconsistent and unsatisfying. It makes sense that you've mastered it, but when a stim gives me no health in the gas it's just annoying
yeah this is true, 99% of players don't even KNOW that timing is a factor... I literally get comments from people thinking I have stim hacks because "my stims don't work like yours" 😬
it'd help if it were a little more obvious to the average player but I dunno how they do that in game without just making stims guaranteed full health like WZ1
@@jamcowl definitely! I'm always impressed watching your POV, and I can see how the appeal of Gas plays does need it to not be so OP! If it was explained somehow it would be useful. Maybe they could adjust them to always give a percentage of health rather than full health and so you don't need to time them?
@@maxtindal7449 yeah could give an instant 50 HP + heal gradually so you need timing for full health but are guaranteed 50 HP even with terrible timing
@@jamcowlI feel that most players know there's stim timing but they just simply time it for the wrong tick.. instead of timing it to hit the stim while taking damage they time it to hit it when not taking damage
Wish they would do something like this for the Throwing Stars.
The glitch where one hit killing made them too powerful. But two hits makes them obsolete compared to Throwing Knives.
Giving it unique variants similar to the ammo types, but more powerful; maybe a special wounding system would make them as versatile as a tactical.
So is this across the new warzone modes?

Jam so not sure if you know about the riot shield glitch in war zone but when you get ur load out and get in a vehicle you lose it but then pick a weapon and it comes back so you can carry 3 weapons total. I go riot shield with the tonfa so with doing the glitch it makes it so lovely bubbly.

Here’s a question though, at what point is it necessary to peace out at? If you stay within the safe zone as late as possible.
So, if it comes down to a 1v1 and the other player stays in the circle as late as possible. Assuming they have a full gas mask, working backwards, with a full mask yourself, and a backpack full of stims, how late can you leave it?
Good question, I suppose it's always true to say "as late as possible", but it depends on the game mode, resurgence circles are different from BR circles. I suppose I'll figure it out but right now I'd guess you still want to be in the final circle

I played yesterday and the winning team got 2nd place. A whole 4 man team were in the gas
After a minute the stims started doing nothinggg bro n I still died n had tons of stims so now I’m trying to figure out what to do to extend my gas play after the mask and stims no longer work
stims still work the same, they haven't been nerfed. Just pay attention to your stim timing

But the gas damage does do more over time so I'm curious as to how long U can stay in it n popping Stims until u die to gas damage even with perfectly timed stims
@@JGROVES716. 2 mins is the hard limit for stims, after that you need a PDS
Idk... i feel like the gas tick is a little too aggressive imo, it shouldn't be that bad but i get what raven are trying to do.
honestly 2 mins being a struggle but possible to reach seems like a good level
@@jamcowl Yesterday I stayed in the gas over 5 mins using self revives and redeploys.
im rather sad about the nerf, I completely understand that they were broken before, but i don’t see much point in using them over smokes now. The ability to be able to rotate late because of them was easily my favorite feature, now that it’s nerfed, i may switch back to smokes. Feels like the have the same purpose now, smokes will save a teammate instead too.
Smokes & stims are definitely my top 2 picks. Stims are still useful for crossing in the open with the speed boost (and healing if you're taking damage), so they're still worth having.
Maybe gas is the tie breaker, so for 90% of the game you should use smokes but if you get the chance later in the match, switch to stims so you have gas plays as an option as well.

they're still identical to Warzone 2 and Warzone 1, except for being manually equipped

On Vondel they have made it sonthat you get more battle rages than stims from Med boxes. Not very useful imo...

And it certainly ain’t balance, this shenanigans is why they seem to think gas needs to kill you in a single tick after self reviving… you needing to be special, caused them to break the fucking mechanic, and you just call it “balance” because you can’t as easily abuse it… you see how the exploiting of the issue breed over correction? So what, now no other tactical equipment matters if you want to survive even a short unwilling encounter with storm (I.e just the time it takes to revive) yeah totally fucking balance Downsey kid.@@jamcowl
wow, you really are a kranky 🤡... this is the kind of unthinking attitude that makes people think 1-shot snipers are unbalanced because they see breadman taking out 4 players in 4 shots, when in reality that almost never happens because it's hard to do... I make this look easy but don't pretend it's a widespread problem, not many people can do what I do. With no gas tick, it was too easy and anyone could do it, now it's fixed, I doubt you or 99% of players could even survive 90 seconds in the gas.
