- For the first 72 hours of Season 2, armor plating was BETTER for gas plays in Battle Royale than stims! Stims were still better in Resurgence, but BR stims being so weak, the combination of Irradiated + Quick Fix perks allowed you to heal more from a 3-stack of plates than a 2-stack of stims in BR! Today we're showcasing this insanely broken strat before it's patched in Fortune's Keep Resurgence!

stims pump adrenaline into you, self revives must pump a lot of it, gas masks filter the gas, but what are the plates doing?

Them nerfing Quickfix, rendering the perk absolutely useless is such a stupid move. These devs are incapable of proper balance in this game. Funny thing is, Irradiated didn't need a buff in the first place. It was already good as it was.
No it needed a buff but they should have never next gas masks
It's infuriating really. What they could've done was make it so that quick fix doesn't heal you when you're plating in the gas ONLY.
I've lost quite a bit of gun fights recently because I would put 2 plates on before re-challenging someone, only to die because my base health didn't heal.
@@Lordmadara. It could be argued it needed a buff, but when they're are utterly useless perks that are desperate for a buff, e.g. mechanic, scavenger, shrouded, Escapist etc, I just don't understand their thinking. I already loved Irradiated.

to be fair, cheaters are an adversarial situation where cheat devs race to create hacks before ricochet can detect them, but when there's an overpowered perk combo there's no adversary, it's just their own game they can patch

I mean obviously whatever blends the best with the surroundinga you're in but is there one which you have found is universally better? Just black or charcoal? Normal camo colours? One thing i have always hated is when a thermite gets attqtched to riot shield you cant drop it to remove the burn effect to stop it killing you..

Anytime I try to plate up in the gas it doesn't work
we lasted 10 mins in a br match before they patched the stims when season 1 dropped of new map we had 170 stims and won the game

You should do zero kill wins in ranked, your teammates would be very happy
Now quick fix doesnt work normally while plating outside of the gas. There is no immediate health regen when commencing plating. Irradiated needs a rethink so it won't destabilize the balance of another great perk, quick fix. I have to run tempered now, so I can't run a tempered vest with quick fix (greatest perk vest combo).
they fixed quickfix so it works normally, just not in the gas - you can run quickfix in perk 3 and find a tempered vest for superb healing
