    Good to know even pros use the faster balls for the drop shot drills.

      Yes this is a must! Vital to keeping it realistic, especially if you need to practice ahead of playing on a bouncy court

    Do you have an explanation for why you open the racket face so much on your forehand drop ? Is it to put more cut , is it to have the option to turn into a drive , does it give you more control ?

    • @teammaliksquash
      @teammaliksquash  Рік тому +1

      Yes, it allows you to put even more cut and spin on the shot causing the ball to stay even lower once it hits the floor. The open face also allows you to be deceptive as well

    So nice to watch! I’m going to try this routine on next solo practice 😊 I notice you play most volleys and drives off an open stance, is this your natural technique (I’m the same on forehand)

    • @teammaliksquash
      @teammaliksquash  7 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! Enjoy it, solos should be fun but also focused on specific things. I use the open stance a lot yes, it's much quicker to cut off balls and more realistic to game scenarios

    • @teammaliksquash
      @teammaliksquash  Рік тому +3

      Typically spend anywhere from 2-5mins in each area and 20mins-1hr for the session. You can do it as many times a week as you want 👍
