We're 10 year and 3 washing machines in now but thanks for all your views and comments. Transit bolts are not obvious (and weren't in the instructions for this one) if you've never installed a washing machine before 🤣
this is why you should always read the installation instructions before use. if for whatever reason the machine doesn't come with one i.e a second hand appliance, yes some people put the bolts back in when they get rid of their machines, the bolts are around 6 inches long, found at the back of the machine and there's 5 of them one on each corner and one in the middle. These bolts are used to keep the outer drum(tub/centrifuge) in place during shipping to prevent damage. By leaving the bolts in you are stopping the free movement of outer drum, thus causing the machine to act like you see in the video. Extreme damage, including but not limited to total destruction of the machine, will occur from repeat usage in such configuration and you may also void the warranty
We got a new machine Indesit and we thought we had to get it changed because it was doing this but after 2 washes we realised we hadn't taken the bolts out, it's fine now 😂
Ladies and gentlemen we have now arrived at washing machine hill we ask you to still all luggage and stay in your seats until the airplane has come to a complete stop we hope that you will fly destruction airlines very soon and enjoy all the sites and fascinating wonders of the new community of washing machine hell

That’s why you should remove the transit bolts before installing the machine
