It works like a temporary install. Activate it, moves certain moves get upgraded or you have new moves. Hit someone with a heat activating move then you recover grey health back. Some characters have specific mechanics tied to being in heat mode. During heat, you can use a move to heat dash out of it, this can work as an extra but weaker bound in combo structures. Generally not worth the amount of damage scaling but sometimes worth it to close a round out

Having problems hitting the 3,1 after u, 1+2. I either miss it, perform ff 3 or drop the combo and it doesnt become true anymore. Any tips?
Make sure it’s ff, neutral, 3,1. But do it quick
