Ronald Dahl mentions in his book 'Danny the champion of the world' about a pie with eggs buried like treasure. As a child I always wondered how that was possible, thanks for this Paul! and Waitrose!

Egg and bacon pies with spinach and tomato sometimes added in are very popular in NZ.

I tried this recipe, today, and it was a hit! Thank you so much for posting this video and the recipe. I highly recommend it for people who have always been intimidated by the idea of making pie crust. The crust was easy to make and turned out very well.

I use frozen leaf spinach regularly and thaw it out in the microwave, then squeeze most of the water out using a sieve. You can still add the spinach to the onion in the pan and it won't take as long to heat/cook thru.

Epic pie! Scrumptious delicious great way to showcase spinach & egg. The little pie balls as indicators where the eggs are is very clever. Masterpiece pie so going to make this to impress myself & my friends. Great video class cheers Paul 👍❤

Hello everyone! Would be anyone be nice and kind and try to help me to find the vídeo of Paul baking a Salmon, leek, potato Pie in puff pastry in a spring mold? I remember that there were some heavy cream on it too. I just could take note of it. I saw on TV and could never find it again. Thank You!

For some reason the pastry wasn't cooked all the way through even after 55 minutes, is there a reason behind this and is there any way I can fix this? I tried blind baking it but I didn't know how long I should bake it for and the sides of the pastry shrank which made it harder to put the lid on and it still wasn't cooked thoroughly. If anyone could help that would be great, thanks!!

Maybe your pastry was too thick.Check your oven temp also.

My recommendation is : "DO WHAT THE CHEF DID"....and do NOT deviate from the process in ANY way. Watch the video again. Pay attention and DON'T do what the teacher DIDN'T do. That my best recommendation.

Shame that the pre-baked "Artisan" bread and rolls that he put his name to were so dry and inedible that we christened them King Tut's bread before we binned them. Celebrity chef endorsed products=expensive disapointment!
