I recently got the Trigger FF with MIPS in black camo in M/L and I love how it fits and the weight is almost none existing!! Best full face I have used!!
I own the IXS Trigger FF in M/L. I was also unsure due to the limited size range. It has lots of adjustability and fits great. The ventilation is excellent. It's my warm weather full face helmet.

Guys a nice departure from the norm. I think its right that real people review gear as we get a honest review. I bought a fox proframe based on Street Pigeons review and Fox Defender breeks based on a Laura review and a PM to Tomas. Im delighted with both👊 We got used To your helmet colour scheme Tomas, matbe a Crow jersey that also says its me!😂

Excellent video guys I looked at the endura full face in those colours funny enough lol but ended up going with the 7idp project 24 and love it :) great review and alway good to move away from the norm sometimes defo ! Would love to see a review on your riding packs sometime :)

Hi Laura tam yeah good informative vid great to know but at min I’ve still got a open face one a poc I only bought it cause of colour oh and the protection but couple of weeks before I desperately needed a lid so in panic I got one then after at a bike park shop I seen this blue poc . But I’m still amazed to see some not wearing helmets wow super crazy anyway great to see you guys have fun stay safe🤘🏻
Poc helmets seem great. Think I (Laura) will be getting an open face one of them too for different rides and gravel biking. When you find a helmet that fits and looks good it’s a winner! Yeah can’t imagine no helmet 😱 thanks you too!
Can I ask which GoPro mount you are using for the IXS? I am looking for a mount, that has the possibiity of using the quick release clip for GoPros, but cant find one. And I see that you are using one? :)
How do you like the Trigger helmet with POC goggles? I have POC goggles and love them, would hate to have to buy new ones just to fit my new IXS helmet. Thanks for the review!
It fits perfectly I’d say, at least for me. I think I have the Ora DH ones. Plenty space for the goggles so there aren’t any pressure points 👌 no worries, it’s a pleasure!
Very helpful review, and always love Scotland people, the reason.? i don't know i just love them very beautiful people. i want to buy the ixs trigger but i find that the shell of it is too big for my skinny body, i will look like a melon head alien LOL.

Hi, just a question about the IXS. Ive had my own one for well over a year now and wondered if you experience these 2 things. 1 is that the magnetic fidlock closure isnt very well padded at all and so becomes uncomfortable when in use for a long time. I often have a red mark where is been on my neck. Also the lamination over the top of the colour very quickly started peeling and whether you had the some issue.
Hi I’ve had mine about 10 months but haven’t had any of these issues. It’s still the same as if it was new. Hopefully it stays that way. That’s a shame, hopefully they can maybe warranty it

I have the endura and woobles around my head, I went for size Large, since I have a 59 head. what size head and what size helmet did you got for the mainline?
I always go for medium helmets with different brands and they fit me well. Endura I went for M/L. I don’t know my exact measurement but probably in the middle of a medium. I did find the Endura loose too especially after some time when the padding was more used. The mainline is a much better and tighter fit and I had a medium in that
Contemplating between the Smith and the IXS for DH use only. I have a SuperDeluxe DH for enduro / trail dutties but looking for a park helment but not digging the full DH ones as they are very heavy >1000 grams and poorly ventilated. Would you choose any of this two for park laps on a DH bike ?
I know what you mean about the weight and ventilation. We have some full dh helmets that we use for uplift days abroad sometimes but even now we use these lighter ones almost always. Both the ixs and smith would be great - both of them are DH certified and have MIPS so should protect you well. They feel really secure as well so I think it’s just personal preference between the two 👍
Ahh the visor, ok sorry I know what you mean! I’m not sure where they do replacements. Probably best just searing online or speaking to a dealer and hopefully there is one in stock 🤞
That’s always a tough decision. Yeah got a couple of friends who have the black and it looks good but to be honest it’s hard to tell it’s smith or any brand as nothing stands out much. It’s quite plain so depends what you prefer. The finish on the green for me just stands out so nicely 👌

They only bothered me when it was brand new on the first ride and then went away quickly on both my mips helmets. It just needs a ride to settle in I think

Got the smith mailine, cracking helmet. Light & fits like a glove with the right pad set fitted.

Sure! I use the r3pro chin mount mostly. Sometimes I just use the regular mount under the visor too and both work well!

hi we don't. For anything on road we prefer an open face helmet. People should wear what they feel comfortable and safe in though 👍
If you want a full face thats light and awesome breathability

which helmet from the 3? If it's the Smith one my head (Tam) is 58cm and it's a perfect fit. Tight with no movement 👍
