"Duh...hut.....yeeaa" (Ringo)...lol
Loved the cartoon. My only problem is that the character John is basically the lead singer on every song and given prominence on vocal lines where he shouldn't be singing .
This is a great point
I do have a dvd version, decent quality. It is a 3 dvd set. .I wish they had the intros for seasons 1& 2. They do provide all the outro's for all the episodes. They do have the intro for season 3 (And Your Bird Can Sing). It would be fantastic if Apple Corp 🍏 would officially release these. I'd buy them in a heart-beat. It was these cartoon series that introduced me to The Beatles for the first time. They are (in my opinion) The Greatest Rock Band of All Time ! 🎸🎸🥁🎸
I remember watching those cartoons when I was young. I enjoyed them, especially for the songs. Believe it or not I remember sitting with my parents when I was six years old watching the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show here in the United States.
I remember one chapter, wich sound the song 'Strawerry Fields..' very god the animation
I live in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 & honestly this is how I became a real Beatles fan at the age of 3 years old way back in 1970-71 when I watched The Beatles cartoons on Saturday morning t.v in Black & White!, most of their music on these classic cartoons came from their early hits period between 1963 to early pre Sgt.Pepper 1967 with season 3 featuring almost every song from the Revolver album & the Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever single!, it's a shame the original cartoon series went no further than that cos it would've been fantastic to hear their later hits?, however they did make the Yellow Submarine cartoon movie after the demise of the original series but that was it!, I used to love the cartoons so much I recorded some episodes onto cassette tapes long before I began buying their albums!, the old cassette tapes are now long gone & chewed up but thank goodness for vinyl records, ironically they were re-running the cartoon series Monday-Friday mornings on Australian t.v in 1980 when John Lennon was tragically killed, I was lucky to pick up these classic cartoons online but are not available at the shops in Australia🇦🇺, God bless The Beatles.🙏🎶🎸🥁✌️❤️😁
❤

Your first three DVD volumes have the episodes made during the first season, of 1965- 66, volume 4 has the cartoons made for the 1966 season, and volume 5 has the 1967 season episodes. I've posted some of the better of these on my UA-cam channel, plus new episodes I put together myself for "I Am the Walrus" and "Back in the USSR"!
Frees and Percival do voiceovers for Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons.
I love the cartoons❤❤❤❤
The cartoon series should be remastered and released on DVD and Blu-ray. Apple Corps bought the rights to the series several years ago. The Beatles was a classic cartoon series which ran from 1965 to 1969 in the U.S. on ABC. Then the series was shown in syndication in the U.S. and around the world. They were also shown on MTV and the Disney Channel in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They should be released on DVD and Blu-ray. Fans have to contact Apple and make them understand that the series should be released. There is no reason whatsoever why it is not released. It makes no sense at all. Make your voice heard. Get the message to Apple that we want this series released.
I would love to see how the producers of these cartoons tried to cope with songs from the White Album.Revolution #9 ? I don't think so.
Saludos y BENDICIONES desde Puerto Rico
Sadly they still hate the cartoons, apple bought the rights from king features just to bury them forever. Which is very sad as it would be great for so many generations if shown on tv or released on an official dvd. Oddly apple allowed licensing of the cartoon depictions for memorabilia yet they wong allow series on dvd or broadcast. Im in new jersey usa by the way. Nice video and i have an incredible dvd set of the cartoons with all 3 openings and even previews and intros to commercials. Btw i have the boxed McFarlane figures, cookie jar, salt and pepper shakers, and lunchbox all depicting the cartoons.
You’ve got a great collection of Beatles cartoon merch!
@chlozycat6506 thank you yes I have a over 50 year collection of beatles memorabilia
I only have vol. 1&2. Just curious, do they still have the early mop top look in last volume?
did you enjoy my compleat beatles remake documentary?
They are great purely because they are so bad. I have the figures box set with mr alligator. I assume your DVD’s are bootlegs?
Amazing! I love the look of that box set. I assume so too, I got them from eBay years ago Xx
@@chlozycat6506I don’t think they were ever released officially.
