Selena From 4 Years Old to 23 Years Old (1975-1995)

  • The video spans from 1975, where she was 4 to 1995 where she was (still) 23. She was born in 1971. I just wanna say that it was, yes difficult, but so amazing to do this video because Selena IS a wonderful being, and all the hardwork her and her family went is so inspiring. I hope this can introduce her to new generations and continue keeping her alive through her legacy.
"The goal isn't to live forever, but to create something that will". Rest in peace, Angel.1971 -1995.

So Mar 19 of '95 was SELENA's real last concert in Chicago before she passed. The Astrodome concert in Feb '95 was the last one she performed there and with it being a televised event.

She had everything: natural beauty and talent, talented family that loved her, a devoted husband that was head-over-heels in love with her (and remains haunted by her ghost to this day), crossover appeal, fashion design career, and a multitude of fans. She had everything but TIME. Yolanda robbed her of even reaching the age of 25, but in death, she achieved a worldwide base of fans from all generations. May her name always echo in the halls of history, from everlasting to everlasting.

The story of the Quintanilla family is truly incredible and moving. A truly united family that, thanks to the vision of the father and the talents of the children, has traveled all over Texas for years to make their songs known. The simplicity, the love and the union of these people created something that not even the record companies could understand. The talent of each of them made the musical band great. One person's madness destroyed all of this, all the days that family had spent together traveling and sacrificing their freedom. Selena's death is first of all the death of a very young girl, a meaningless death and a gesture of cowardice because she was shot in the back. Even today, 25 years later, it is very difficult to accept this loss and I think no one will ever accept it. Rest in peace Selena.

How can one person invoke so much love from so many? Selena embodied human potential. We all identify with wanting to create something in life, but she did it and she did it well. I was born 2 years to the day from her and I have an ache in my heart for the loss of her life. She was dynamic. Y took so much beauty from this world with one selfish gesture. I never knew Selena, but I miss her, like she was my own family. Always offering Love and Gratitude for Selena. ❤
