Thank you so much for your content, Darren! Had several attempts on the bloom technique but always failed because of problems with my lungs. Amazing and super helpful video. And now i know why i never got along with the mini blower.. i will give it another try now💙💙💙thank you
Thank you simona, definitely give it another go.. once you get the hang of it they are a great toy. 👍
@@venomfluidart will do ❣️
Had to watch this informative video..the charger your using I have a bunch of dewalt will give them a try!😊💙💙
I REALLY needed this!!! I've never been into blooms as they are often just indistinguishable from each artist but I can tell when one is done effectively, and I hope to use my bloom effects in a unique way like my half-assed swipes! Thanks so much AND I love the accent so friendly!!😊 i HOPE you use this in larger round boards or something as I don't have any tiles to use. So cell activator will stay lo ger with tube on top!! Got it. You're the blonde dude right haha. I could check im just tired.😅
Yep, I use it for blooms upto about 30" then swap to a bigger blower for anything bigger. Nope, not the blonde dude... I don't appear on camera in my videos.
@@venomfluidart oh ok!!! I definitely will womder now! Hahaha cheers!
... And Professor Venom strikes again!!! I'm gonna have a re-try right again (I haven't been friends with my mini blower as of yet...)
Such valuable info. You are awesome❤ love ya bro
Thank you so much cat ❤️😊
What a gem of a vid boyfriend!
I know this will help so many use their blowers so much better.
Great tips about the pillow too.
Thank you❤
Thank you so much girlfriend, so many give up on the mini blower that have lung issues and really can't blow out a bloom without it, hopefully this helps them ❤️🐨❤️
Great video!! Learned several things I didn't know. Always a learning experience & enjoyable at the same time. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Anita ❤️🐨
Great video! I wish I had seen it long ago. Thanks so much!
Thank you for watching Regina ❤️🐨
Love all your teaching videos Darren - I have learnt so much from you - thank you! Today shall be spent trying out all your tips and tricks with this tutorial. So excited!
Thank you for watching fay, let me know how you go with it 👍❤️
Thank you so much for teaching us how to use this blower! I am one with breathing issues and could not figure out what I was doing wrong! Thank you! Thank you!
Glad I could help Lori ❤️🐨
Darren, you are the first person I’ve seen, besides myself, that reduces the pillow amount on a tile. Neat blower technique. Thanks.
It definitely makes a huge difference, way less chance of hitting the pillow and still cells up great , thank you for watching ❤️🐨
Wow! I really hope you see my comment. I took the Sheleeart ecourse and it was good but....... this video is VERY good & informational!!!! Thank you so very much!!! I'm wondering if you have a video like this but for swiping??? If not, could you?? Keep up the excellent videos and explanations 😁🥰
Thank you kasey, I'll try and organise a video for next week showing the same paints I used in this video but for swipes 👍🐨
Thanks for these tips, Darren ! It really helped to show a close-up of how you move the blower around. I can see that leaving too much pillow on the surface is what was causing a number of my fails. Again, thank you !! ☺
Glad I could help Suzanne ❤️🐨
Perfect timing! I just got my mini blower yesterday. I see now I'm using too much pillow as well. This is so helpful.. thank you so much!
Happy to help Cheryl 🐨❤️
Thanks!
Thank you so much Janet for all your love and support ❤️ 💕 ♥️ 🐨❤️💕♥️💙💜💖💞💗🥰💖🐨❤️💕♥️
Really great vid Darren! So helpful on many aspects. Thanks so much for putting this out there!
Thank you Jeanne ❤️ 🐨
Hi Champ. My wife and I are learning so much from your videos, so thank you so much. But my wife wants to know were abouts you a spinning wheel like you have. Thanks again. cheers
Thank you, glad we can help you on your fluid art journey. The spinner is a glass lazy Susan, they are available on ebay, Amazon, and a few other stores from time to time like aldi & kmart 👍🐨
❤❤❤ 0:08
Thankyou so much that was excellent, I learnt so much. what do I look for when buying a spinner thanks Linda
No problem at all, I like the glass lazy Susan as a spinner as they are smooth, quiet and cheap 🐨👍
thankyou so much its really nice to watch someone on UA-cam who is Australian and talks about purchasing from shops we know. cheers Linda @@venomfluidart
Thank you so much for taking the time to educate me, I am a complete beginner at this hobby and your videos have been a great help thank you. Do you have a video of preparing the tile for using as a coaster or similar?
Thank you Nikki, we just tape up the back with blue painters tape. We are in the process of doing a series just on making coasters showing, prep , paint mixing, protective coating and backings so stay tuned 👍🐨
Hey Darren where in Aus did you find the 4" hex tiles I have searched everywhere? Thanks for the video too awesome tips
I get them on a sheet of 12 at bunnings for about $12 a sheet, or tiger tiles at nowra sell them in a box of 100 for $89 👍🐨
@@venomfluidart Thanks mate might have to see if my local tile place can find them for me
Very informative video, thanks so much. Just curious, do you ever do larger works, on canvas for instance .?
Thank you Susan, yes I do larger work but for videos it’s easier to do smaller pieces . An 8-12 inch round is easy to see the detail on camera compared to if I show a 6 foot round table top .👍🐨
Amazing video that's so much sweet wombat
Thank you Roxy ❤️💖
@Venom fluid art you're welcome sweet wombat
Thank you so much for how to use the mini blower. I’ve been struggling trying to use it. Can this be used for a canvas also or just tiles?❤
You're welcome Debra, yes you can use it the same on a canvas also 🐨❤️
Was that black that you added the cell to?
No link to the mini blower? I've been kind of looking around for something that I can use for acrylic paint and for alcohol inks.
Try ebay or Amazon.. both have them. 👌🐨
@@venomfluidart thank you! Btw you and bubbles are absolutely adorable!
Where did you get your spinner? And what are you spinning in ?
This was a fantastic tutorial Wombat. That mini blower is the bane of my existence 🤣. Love to you and Bubbles 🫧 ♥️🙏♥️
Thank you fiona, we love you too 🐨💙💜
I got mine from Ebay and it must be faulty cause it blows better than my mini hairdryer, I actually have to hold it away from the paint or it blows it all over the place lmfao, I`m Aussie too 🙃
G'day nerissa, yeh they are really quite good, I love my one 🐨💖
Do they still make these leaf blowers?
Yep sure do, ebay, Amazon, officeworks here in Oz has them also 👍🐨
Disappointed to hear you say following the wave is incorrect. It’s not. There is more than one way to make a bloom.
I think that mini blower it's a waste of money 1st it's not made for what everyone use it ,doesn't have power and because it doesn't have power if u put a wider end its goes even worst nothing better then a old fashion hairdryer
If you can't get the paint to move its too thick. I have no problem with the ones I have.
Remember, house paint or floetrol also isn't being used for its intended purpose....
Each to their own 👍🐨
@venomfluidart true I'm just trying to figure out a way to don't spend too much money as it can get expensive with all the products
@JM-pu8pl blowing a bloom out by mouth is the cheapest way, but for people that have lung issues they can't do it.
The power supply you give the blower also makes a big difference, a 1.5a phone charger sux for a power supply. The more amps you give it, the better it works, also removing the black side cover makes a difference also.
Paint pouring isn't a cheap hobby, but better quality products make a huge difference too the results.
@venomfluidart once u master everything u can go to better acrylics but so far I'm happy with the results just experimenting as there's so many recipes for it 😄
