The right to bear arms is just that a right under our constitution and it’s the only right that says in plain English not to be infringed upon facts. No one needs a license to exercise a right under our constitution facts. You don’t need a license for your other constitutional rights freedom of speech freedom of religion and so on facts.

      Are you 12 years old?
Do you want to quibble about the unconstitutionality of licensing, etc, etc, etc?
I’m not going to argue about that, I fully agree with you.
Almost EVERYWHERE in the US, there is some degree of Infringement going on.
There are places you can legally go, with an LTC, that you can get busted without.
A TX LTC or AZ will be honored in many other states, which even if they have “Constitutional carry”
(For their own residents, NOT YOU)
Also, if you get pulled over within 1000 feet of a school without a LTC,
some ATF goon could press charges on you for that federal law,
But an LTC would protect you from such abuse.
Also, if you purchase a firearm from an FFL, you do not have to get approval
From NICS. These days, NICS checks USUALLY do not take long at all….
      BUT sometimes, IT MIGHT.
I REMEMBER 35 years ago when almost NOWHERE in the US could you get
a license to carry concealed, places that supposedly allowed licensing,
Were may issue, and they would NOT do so, unless you were rich, or politically
      Connected.
and NOWHERE except VERMONT could you carry without a license.
(And who wants to go to Vermont?)
      So quitcherbitchin!

@@travisleeabqSounds like you’ve given up on arguing for (much less FIGHTING for) your God given, constitutionally recognized rights. How sad.
The OP wasn’t complaining about the video’s explanation of our current situation. He was complaining that the system itself is wrong.
Would you have insulted Thomas Paine for writing “Common Sense” instead of just complying with the British regulations and restrictions? Would you have asked Thomas Jefferson, “Are you 12 years old?” Because he put American complaints with “approved government procedures” down on paper? 🤦‍♂️

      “The system is wrong”?
      Yeah, SO?
A whole lot of people all over the country, Fought the “system”, and pried our civil rights out of the anti gunners’
Grubby little hands, bit, by bit, by bit.
They started with changing state laws from MAY (WON’T) issue
To shall issue. Since you have no historical perspective, you probably are totally unaware that in 1992,
Almost NOWHERE in the US was shall issue, and there was exactly ONE state which had what was called VERMONT
Carry. This was not achieved by the nearly useless NRA, and it was not achieved by holding our breaths until we turned blue.
It took YEARS AND YEARS of fighting the system, and exerting political pressure on politicians, and replacing politicians.
My estranged family, and my former friends were baffled, and hostile to my arguments 30 years ago, and
Yes, I quit arguing with them. I don’t even speak with them anymore.
In this state, I CAN obtain a piece of paper which supposed makes me an “OK, legal guy”
When I carry a gun. I resent it, but gives me (theoretically) legal protection from police harassment or arrest
In much of the country. Which would not help at all, if I were on the west coast, the East coast,
Or Illinois. And to put it bluntly, I would not want to set foot in those states, under any circumstances.

Before I took the class in Feb 2021 I had practiced with my Ruger Security 9 I had bought in July 2020. I probably ran 1500 rounds through it and I remember the range officer's words to me when we went to do the shooting portion of the class. He recognized me from the range (I went often) and he said "You've passed this part" but we had not shot yet. I did pass with a very high score (249 - yeah I am bragging) but I routinely go to the range and practice. I now carry either the Ruger Max 9 or the Sig P365 which are smaller guns but I am proficient with both.
Would love to see ranges offer a shooting package for "proficiency checking" aka for a price you get 3 of the B-27 targets (1 for each distance) then you go to the lane and set 1 target at the yard range, shoot the 20 rounds, next the 7 yard range for 20 rounds then last 10 rounds on a 15 yard range. I try to do this at a couple of indoor ranges to see at what distance do I need to practice more (usually that 15 yard range.)

Of course these knuckle heads are going to try saying you cant carry this, here there, because theyre in the business of selling classes and 'knowledge' and licenses. But a business place has right to refuse anyone's service, so they can ask you to leave, but a business cant violate your rights merely say you cannot carry on our property, because its private. Just like stop signs at a walmart or a mall. You cant get a ticket for going through them, but its their rigt to ask you to leave if u dont obey them. Using common sense, and only protect yourself, other people or property from serious life threatening dangers is when you should ever draw your firearm. And only draw it, when you are prepared to shoot someone in defense. That pretty much sums up the legalities right there. Range time, learning the fundamentals of marksmanship can easily be acquired by going to the range yourself, and getting comfortable with your pistol or rifle or shotgun. These firearm courses are sometimes a detriment as they put it in a gunowners mind to stop and think of potential liability, when your average person doesnt want to harm other people, but merely wants to protect themself, other people and their property. Malfunctions, cleaning your weapon, storing it properly are things people should look into themselves. If youre too lazy, chances are a gun isnt going to help you much anyway, as you arent being a responsible, informed gunowner who prepares themselves with knowledge and a mentality to be effective when should something arise where you need to draw and fire your gun. Intent always plays a part inthe final verdict. So courses are not needed, but serve for those that lack the discipline and resposibility to know what theyshould be aware of owning a gun. I open carry all the time, and as long as youre not puffing your ego out, most everyone even gas station attendants or walmart employees just look. A smile and kind word shows you come inpeace and works wonders.

If you’re over 3 years old you can open carry. No license, no permits, for every $100.00 in groceries you get 10 bullets of your choice from a vending machine. However, you cannot carry over 5 guns at a time. At first, only folks with an I.Q. Of 70 or lower could carry……now everyone is required under Texas law….everyone must own at least two AR-15’s. Fortunately, the other states found a way to get back at Texas…..we quit flushing our toilets for a week and Texas will run out of drinking water.

The entire USA has constitutional open and concealed carry. No man or woman without the long drawn out process of changing the 2A is allowed to say you need a license or permit to exercise your rights. It dose not say right to own arms shall not be infringed. It says right to bear, aka possess and use. I also don’t care if it’s your private property, your ownership of the land dose not suspend my constitutional rights when I’m on it. Your land is under the constitution as well.
